When they first discovered I was pregnant, back in January, they told me my csection would be the 16th or 17th of September. After all the problems and bedrest in July it bacame a whenever it happens it happens type of thing. I went to the doctor yesterday morning and the nurse practioner asked me when was my csection scheduled and I told her it wasn't! She almost flipped. She got in touch with the doctor and he wants to do it on Tuesday, the 9th because of the problems and the baby not moving and almost not passing her BPP on Tuesday. Wow...6 days and this little one is coming out  I'm not nervouse about the being a "new" mommy again after 5 years but I am worried about my csection. I had ALOT of unexpected problems with my emergency c with the boys and it makes me nervouse about this one!

I'm happy that you finally got a date! :yahoo:

With a scheduled c-section I bet it's going to be better afterwards!

Hi! I just wanted to say good luck with your section. With my 1st I too had an emergency c-section and alot of problems after it. But with the twins it was scheduled and soooooo much better. I had no problems what so ever with it and was up walking around the next day. Good luck and try not to worry yourself too much. Just enjoy being mommy again!

Congratulations on getting your date! I hope everything goes much more smoothly for you this time. Since it's a scheduled c-section instead of an emergency, the odds are in your favor.

Even though this c section with Amber was basically considered an emergency one (delivered within two hours of my Dr appt) I recovered (surgery wise) much better from this than I did with the twins. (The pre e complications are another story, though)

At 2 weeks I was driving and even sleeping on my side again. Being on my side is something that I didn't do for several weeks after the twins.

What I wasn't prepared for (and it may be different at your hospital) was that for 24 hours post surgery that baby could not be in my room with me unless someone was there with me. Of course DH couldn't stay with me because of the other kids and we have no family here anymore. A friend stayed for a few hours in the evening so that I could enjoy some mommy time that didn't revolve around any one else's schedule.
