Final U/S today!

We had our final u/s today and I still think that the U/S tech didn't get the right measurements. She measured both our girls and came up with Baby A being bigger than Baby B??? Baby B has always been bigger and I just think that the measurements aren't as accurate because B is head up and feet up :huh: and I don't think that her measurement is as accurate unless both babies switched positions. Anyways here are their measurements.

At 35 weeks!
Baby A (estimate) is 7 pounds and 1 ounce and heart rate at 148--with peach fuzz for hair--lol and is head down.

Baby B (estimate) is 6 pounds 4 ounces and heart rate at 145--also with peach fuzz hair--head and feet up.

I asked the tech if she could see any of the placenta(s) and she could see the top of what looked like to be one placenta but still 2 sacs. She said that it looked like they are sharing one placenta! So we have to wait until they send off the blood work after they are born to be sure! Possibility of ID's.

I wish that I had gotten all the little measurements of what they measure. But at least we got to record all but one of the U/S.
So today was a very exciting moment for my husband. His boss told him that he needed to go to this appt and now my husband is like on cloud 9 because his wife can grow huge babies and that he is getting 2 huge babies instead of just one. He still watches me like a hawk though. He tells me to go lay down if I have the slightest little twinge of a contraction but I like to be where everyone else is at least sitting up in a reclining position.

Those are some big babies. Itwill be interesting to see their real weights when they get here.

Great weights!! Ours measured 6lbs 12 oz and 6lbs 15oz at 34.5 week leaving my husband on cloud 9 also!Someone at his work at a 6 lb singleton and he was all excited that he had 2 that size I will let you know how accurate our weights were after my c-section tomorrow!

CONGRATS!!! I hope the u/s were right and they are good sized! Mine were est via u/s at 35 wks to be over 7 lbs. But came 5 days later and were 5.5 and almost 6 lbs! GOOD LUCK1
