What was your absolute must have, hands-down favorite accessory for the First Year? Please include a link if possible.

    Thanks!!

Boppy pillows!!! I know some don't like them, but they were SOOOOO useful for us in the first year. We used them to prop them up after feedings when we were dealing with reflux, our spitter baby layed in it to play with the activity mat when she couldn't lay flat, used it for tummy time, for feedings, for learning to feed themselves a bottle and sippy, for learning to sit up, etc etc. We STILL use them for evening sippies of milk and they are almost 2 years old.

This is a tough one...I'm still well into our first year but so far our absolute must-haves are tied between the Boppy Newborn lounger and our bouncers, which we are still using to keep babies safe...

Hands down, without a doubt for us it was the Miracle Blanket. We swaddled the girls all day long when they were newborns and I really think that helped get them to STTN early on.

I second the Kiddopotamus, our doula showed up the first day with them as a must have... and she was right- so easy! And it is a tie with the twin nursing pillow.

I second the Boppy pillows - I bought 2, and even now that they're eight and a half months old, I still use them multiple times each day. They make it so easy to feed two babies at once by yourself.

I also say boppy pillows. Get 2. We still use ours every day. They are a must for me because I was able to feed both babies by myself very early on because I could put each baby in a boppy. We used them for tummy time, for playing on activity mats, sitting and still use them twice a day for feeding bottles. Get some extra covers so that when one is in the wash the pillow isn't exposed. I have washed both my boppies multiple times and they come out like new.

My second choice is a tie with this stroller from One Step Ahead and our bundle me.
The stroller was a godsend when I was ready to get out and about and the boys loved it and the bundle me's have been great since I never have to mess with a jacket or snowsuit.

Without a doubt, the one thing that got us through those first couple of tough months was the Boppy Newborn Lounger (of course we had 2 of them!)

DITTO!! I put one on each side of me on the couch, and between weeks 6-10 we stayed on that couch all day and all night pretty much. Lifesaver!!!

Mine didn't fit right in the Boppy regular pillows- I'm always amazed that twins smaller than mine use them.

Ditto! I love the boppy pillows! Not a day goes by when I don't use them for feeding, propping up, practice sitting, or just lounging around if they want. They are 7 1/2 months old now too.

I can't pick just one. Each one of these was a life-saver in their own right and I don't know how we would have made it through without any of them:

    Boppy's
    Bouncers
    Kiddopotamus Swaddle Me's

I've heard MANY great and wonderful things about boppy's, yet I never had one for my girls. I still survived :) Also, I've fed them separetely since birth.

One thing that I loved having was/is the bouncy seat. When they were younger [0-3 months] we used a reclined bouncy, and when they got a little older [3+ months] we used/use the sit up bouncy ALL the time - especially after feedings. I keep them upward for about 20 mins before letting them loose to play on the floor - to limit vomiting.
