I would love to hear about any exeriences with this////

I am on hospital bedrest for MOMO twins and I had a neg. test today - thank goodness - but so many contractions the last 6 days.

From what I understand a negative fFN test is very accurate that you won't go into labor within 2 weeks. A positive test does not indicatie that you WILL go into labor, but it doesn't guarantee that you won't either. I had a positive fFN test at 25 weeks and didn't deliver until 28 weeks. It really just depends.

Not to scare you, but I actually had a negative fFn test on Monday and went into labor that same Thursday. My OB was shocked. They think that I caught a stomach bug and that is what caused me to go into labor. Good Luck - hang in there!

I have been having contractions the last 7 days..and 2 out of the 7 days they were 1/2 minutes apart for up to 5 hours. No very comfortable. That is why they did an FFN test in the first place - I hope I don't deliver in 2 weeks...and I know the test is pretty accuarate - so i am not too worried, but I just wondered who else had a different experience with the test.

Since I am on hospital bed rest and they are monitoring me all of the time (24/7) - i am not too worried.

    Thanks for your input.

I had mine 2 weeks ago Thursday (contractions were 2 min apart) and it was neg and I’m still baking…. My Dr said it was 90% accurate you won’t go into labor for 2 weeks…

He said if it came back positive it doesn’t mean you will go into labor it just meant he wouldn’t have sent me home…
