So I am 23 weeks pregnant and I have felt the babies move but it is not a constant thing and I usually dont notice them very much during the day. I called my drs. office and they are not concerned. They said it is still earlier and so their movement is going to be sporadic.

    I just feel nervous b/c I had a m/c earlier this year.

Please do not worry. Your Dr is right. The movement is consistent or consistently felt after 27-28 weeks. cos the babies still have a lot of space to move around. How much you feel is also dependent on ur placenta's location. IF its anterior..you'll feel less. Stay positive and all will be well

I agree it is easy to worry but like pp said it is early to feel them constantly. They also say that when you walk around and move around it is soothing to them so you may not feel them much when that is happening but when you sit down they are more active (already practicing their sleep and wake patterns).

When you do get further along and if you get concerned you can drink something really cold and lay on your left side for 15 minutes. Like you already did you can always call your ob office to check in.

I agree with the pp- movement was never very consistent until I got further along and even then I had periods of less movement. I also had a m/c prior to my twin pg, so I was always a bit nervous, but try not to worry (easier said than done) :)

Just like pps have said, you're still early on and when you're more active you won't notice them nearly as much. Wait another couple of weeks and y0u'll feel them more. It's hard not too worry though!

I agree with all of the above! They have lots of room! Just wait till they get bigger..you'll be wondering when they'll stop..lol! Don't worry!!! ^_^

I'm 24w5d and don't feel my babies (especially baby girl) move very much either. :( But both placentas are on the front wall so that isn't helping. I don't feel my babies much at work either, I think because I am pretty active and don't sit much. When I get home and settle into the Lazy Boy chair, they seem to move more and I probably just notice them more too.

But that being said, the last few days I've definitely felt more movement than last week! It seems that evening time they're more active (I don't even feel them at night).

    Hang in there!!

I agree with the ladies above. Give it time but it can NEVER hurt to ask.

Check out our pregnancy after loss forum. IT is for ladies who have had M/C before and are pregnant now.

I didn't feel the girls at ALL until 22 weeks and then it was extremely sporadic!!
Just give it some more time. By 30 weeks they moved so much it was painful.

I know how nerve wrecking it is when you feel them on and off, and you wonder if they're doing fine. But at 24 weeks, I don't feel them all the time either, and like what the pp said, there's probably still lotsa space in there and thus you don't feel their movement even as they made it. For me, if I feel notti, I'll tap or poke around lightly to see if I get any response, I don't always get any, but that's just me! :p

I read from a website though, if you're realli concerned, you can spare a little time each day to stay realli still, e.g. lie on each side for about 10-15min and try to detect their movements, but the quicker way would probably be just call your doc and be sure!! That's why they're there! :D

    Don't worry momma!
