Fetal movement really slowed down

this baby is super active. today he has hardly moved except maybe 2-3 times and about 2 minutes of hiccups after lunch today. My whole stomach is hard as a rock. I have had a few noticable contractions but my last NST i was not feeling them. I was 3cm last thursday, and I have so much pelvic pressure i can hardly sit or stand up. Do you think its time? I called the OB but havent heard back yet.

 

the decreased fetal movement would actually make me worry a lot. That's the reason i went to the hospital before i lost taylor. I wouldn't wait for the doc and i would head over to the hospital just to make sure everything is okay. Just the better safe than sorry approach.

Went to L&D, got monitored for forever, of course, as soon as they put the monitor on him he perked right up wanting to play with it. anyways, I had a temp of 99.7 and his heartrate was over 180, so they turned me on my side and made me drink lots of water. after about three hours his heart rate had settled back down to 130-150 range. they did urine and blood work and determined I have a UTI which was also causing alot of my pressure and back pain (I havent had a UTI since I was a teenager) I had no symptons of it so I was clueless. So, they sent me home with a prescription of Macrobid. I was still 3cm and unchanged for almost three weeks now and they wont do anything to help me along until 39 weeks. I go back to the ob on Friday, so well see what happens then.

 

Glad to hear everything was okay with the baby, sorry about the UTI. Hope this little one comes soon.
