Fell down the stairs tonight.. what to do..

I was running for my phone and luckily did not have one of my twins in my arms and I fell face first on the tile.. my lower back hurts and I haven't had any other warning signs that something is wrong, but am concerned about the baby. I know that at 6 weeks there is really nothing that can be done other than to give a verdict one way or another. Do you think we should call the doc on call or just wait until tomorrow? Thanks ladies.

 

Ouch. I fell down the stairs, just a few, when I was pregnant with the boys. I fell on my butt down a few stairs. My dh suddenly became concerned about three days later and started freaking out. I called the ob/gyn and they reassured me that they were well padded in there! For reassurance, I would probably call. Unless you are feeling crampy, etc, I would wait until the morning.

 

I agree... baby is well protected in there. Call in and see what your OB office suggests.
