i had an appointment this last tuesday and i was measuring 52 weeks and currently 35 weeks, two weeks before that i had an u/s and baby a was at 3 lbs 13 oz, and baby b was 4 lbs 2 oz, ok so my dr wanted for me to have an u/s yesturday and if they were big enough he was going to do the c-section before than the date he gave me (oct-13) but as my luck goes he was out yesturday on a emergency surgery and did not see him at all, but the good thing is that babies are really GROWING baby a is at 5lbs 14 oz, and baby b at 6lbs 6 oz,and they both flipped(they were both head down 2 weeks ago) my dor wants to see me on mon but homestly i can't no more i'm sitting here typing with tears in my eyes b/c i don't think i could go any further and plus they are now heads up they are kicking the **** out of me and think any day now when i go to use the restroom i'm going to see an arm or leg come out, last night i only sleped for like an hour and spend all the time sitting on the bed crying, and trying to find a comfortable position to sit or lay down,i'm having pains all over my body and last night one of the trips to the restroom i looked at my hands and feet and they were REALLY swollen and looked like fiona from the movie shrek, its horrible how i'm feeling sometimes i think just to go to the hospital and maybe they would keep me there and call my ob,my dc needs to do something about and not wait until mon to send me to the hospital,do any of you ladies think that if i call my doc he would do something about it or have any of you been thru this!!!
i really need to have this babies already i may sound crazy or what the heck i really don't know but my body can't take it no more!!!!

I don't have any advice on what your doctor might do for you if you were to call right now, but you're doing great and the longer those babies stay inside you the better it is for them (and you) in the long run, even though it's hard right now. There is an end in sight- you're almost there and you're doing a great job growing those babies!! :hug99:

You poor thing..hang in there mama! That's only next weekend...as I'm sure it's easier for me to say, then for you to read..lol. Is there anything that you still enjoy doing? Anything that actually takes your mind off of how you're feeling? Once these babies get here, there will be hardly any time for doing things just for yourself...try and get one more of your favorite activities in. You are almost there!

Aww, you sound miserable!! Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!! :hug99:

If the hand swelling is a new thing, definitely call the doctor, in case of preeclampsia.

You're doing great--you're just around the corner from holding your big, happy babies!!!!

You poor thing. If the swelling is bad I would call your OB, like PP said, it could be the beginnings of pre-eclampsia.

I'm so sorry...Keep up your good work! I would call your Doc. and let him know about your hands and feet. I'm sure they will come any day now they sound like they have a great weight!

I FEEL REALLY BAD FOR YOU, IM GETTING CLOSE TO FEELING THIS SAME WAY SOMEDAYS. IM 34 WEEKS AND SOMETIMES I WONDER HOW WOMEN WITH ONE BABY EVEN CAN GO TILL 40 WEEKS, IT'S GETTING PRETTY AWFUL. BUT THEN I WAKE UP THE NEXT DAY AND FEEL BETTER. SO ALL I CAN SAY IS I HOPE THAT TOMORROW YOU FEEL OK, MABY TRY AND GET SOME FRESH AIR, THAT ALWAYS HELPS. BUT YOU SHOULD CALL ABOUT THE SUDDEN SWELLING, THAT MIGHT AT LEAST GET YOU INTO THE HOSPITAL FOR THE WEEKEND, OF COURSE HOPING ALL IS OK. BUT JUST WANTED TO SAY I UNDERSTAND THE FEELING OF "NO MORE!" I HOPE YOU GO INTO LABOR TONIGHT! KEEP YOUR CHIN UP!

I know it's hard for you right now, but the end is in sight. Your doctor is doing what is best for your babies. Take it easy, drink lots of water and you will be there soon. :hug99:

I'm sorry you're not feeling well :hug99: . I hope you can find some comfort and rest between now and the day you deliver your precious babies. Btw, you're doing great!
