Feeling baby move from the outside before inside?!

Sometimes I think I feel movement from the inside but Im not sure. By now with both my other kids I felt them moving around lots. This is different and I was getting scared. But lastnight while laying in bed, I had my hands on my belly and I felt just like a hard lump on the side that wasnt there before and then it was gone! Why dont I feel this from the inside??lol

 

Do you have an anterior or posterior placenta? That could affect how much movement you feel.

 

I didn't start feeling movement inside or out until I was much further along. I thought with twins I would feel them so early and all the time. I felt my singletons more than my twins. I also have an anterior and posterior placenta. That can make a HUGE difference.

 

Im not even sure where the placentas are. I will have to ask at my next appointment next friday.
