Hi Ladies.. just a little rant to start off my morning :spiteful: I'm not really upset or anything but I got my first period since the babies and am feeling EXTRA tired and cranky :FIFblush: I'm finding i'm less patient with babes these last few days... they don't seem to be keeping to their regular schedule and i'm getting so frustrated and afterwards I feel awful. DH let me out of the house yesterday and I was so tired that I don't now how I drove anywhere. Where did I go, you ask? Babies r us because we needed new pacis and bottles and a new toy. Grrr... even when i'm not with them, they are all I think about. I don't mind of course but I am SOOOOOOOOOOO tired. Last night both kids decided to stay up late and vomit their last bottle up and by the time we were done DH and I collapsed on the couch and giggled a tired "WTF??".

DS is sooo active and eats and eats and eats. Is it normal to have a nearly 4 month old baby eat over 38oz/day?

Anyhoo, i'm ok, just needed to get it out there

    Have a great friday!

I'm sorry, I know you are ranting but that was the funniest thing ever. Mostly because I feel the same way and mine are only a month. I also haven't gotten my first period yet but I am sure I will be a mess. I'm sorry you are so tired, but it's obvious those two are your biggest priority! I know my doctor said that the guidline, JUST A GUIDELINE, is that they should eat 6 oz for each kilo. So depending on his weight. Mine are six pounds and should eat like 18 oz.... Ha!!! They eat way more than that :)

thanks for writing! I think my little ones are growing and on top of that they have a bit of a stomach bug and have the runs... that's why they are a tad of the cranky side !!! I love them but sometimes I have to admit that I don't love motherhood. Overall though, DH and I are maintaining a positive spin on things b/c what's the point of freaking out?? tomorrow is another day (at least I keep telling myself!).

Good luck to you curious george, 1 month olds are tough :faint:

    happy friday :silly:

Awe - I know how you feel!!! Something that people told me, and I can now say that I am seeing that it is true, is that it gets better. I couldn't see the light... but starting at the end of four months and now into the 5th month, it is def getting better.

Oh, the eating thing!! That always made me crazy because Luke loves to eat and I was always concerned that I was over-feeding him. 38oz does seem like a lot ... but if they hold it down, then I don't see a concern. But, of course, I would check with your pedi.

    Happy Friday!

4 month growth spurt. Disrupts sleep, schedules and they eat like little piggies! I was making 70 oz of formula for the two of them at 4 months old, so that's about 35oz a day each. Not unusual :) And it DOES get better!
