I found a coupon towards pull-ups and these Feel N' Learn Diapers that allow your toddler to feel wet. It hit me, duh, all of a sudden that their normal pampers are so good at keeping them dry that it might not be working in my potty training favor. I have not been pushing potty training at all, but they have not been regularly interested in using a potty. They strike me as pretty darn happy in their diapers that keep them feeling dry even when they have peed a pint in them!

So anyone have success with those Feel N' Learns?

I have used them on the girls and they don't seem to notice any difference. I think it's supposed to feel cool when they wet, but my girls didn't seem to mind or tell me they felt different. I just switched to the Easy Ups.

Another tip.... I found it's cheaper to buy them at diapers.com instead of at the store. It's cheaper per diaper and I get more. If you decide to order from them, PM me before you do and I'll give you a code to use that will give you a discount and help me on a future purchase!!

    Thanks!

Everyone I've spoken with says not to waste your money. That they don't work any different or better than regular pull ups or easy ups. In fact, everyone I've spoken with on this forum AND else where says that the pull ups feel just like diapers to them that they don't get what they are for and to put them in regular cotton training pants OR regular undies and accept that you'll have some cleaning up to do for awhile until you get them consistantly going in the potty.

we use whichever pull ups are cheapest at the moment (we only use them at daycare, so I'm not picky). My boys don't seem to notice any difference. The only ones that they seem not to like are the Huggies cool blast or something like that. I know when Ethan pees b/c he tells me he has a bobo on his penie. So those are the ones I like least.

Pampers puts out coupons for $2 and $3 off their pull ups and if you pair them with a sale, you can get some super deals on them. So we end up with them a lot :)

We tried them with DD 1 - don't bother. We ended up using whatever cheap dept store ones were available in the day and brand name Pull Ups at night. If we were home we just used panties (we had wooden floors) then she knew when she was wet. The pull ups of any kind seem to be absorbent enough that it didn't phase her.

I also have tried these without any success. They are quite absorbent and I don't think they give much impression of dampness down there.

I tried them with my one son who was a late potty trainer (3.5yrs). It didn't seem to make a difference for him. They still pulled the dampness away. The "cool alert" apparently wasn't too bad for him...he didn't seem phased by it.

I ended up having him wear underpants and then putting a pull up over that. He could feel the wetness without having a puddle on our furniture and carpeting. But it truly came down to when he was ready to train...he was ready. The wetness issue, in my opinion, didn't push it faster.

"Pull up" diapers in general were incredibly helpful with my other son. He pee, potty trained within a day at 34 months. However, it took him a couple months to get #2 down. He was afraid to do it on the potty. Trying to clean up soiled underpants was too gross for me. Since he was already "with the program" and pee trained. He would never pee in them only #2. Pull ups are also very helpful for nightime and naps.

We have been using them but we are switching to the Easy Ups without the wet liner. They do not seem to notice that it feels wet and they have really sensitive skin and seem to have been getting more diaper rashes with the Feel N Learns. I do not think they are useful.
