Feel good moment of the day

My BFF called me today and wanted to ask me how in the world do I go grocery shopping with all 3 kids? She has a 2.5 yr old and a 10 wk old. She was at WalMart and couldn't figure out where to put all her groceries and knew I usually take all 3 kids with me. I explained that when the boys were still in their carriers I put one in the front of the cart and the other in the basket and 4 yr old usually walks beside me. On occasion if it is alot of things then I put her in another cart and pull it. I know when I do this I look funny to the other people out there but you gotta do what you gotta do.
She then told me "You have it all figured, I am impressed." This meant so much to me because since the twins were born I have felt like my group of friends felt sorry for me because I have to take all the kids everywhere, don't have any help during the day while DH is at work, etc, etc. None of this bothers me because I enjoy it most days. We all have hard days but I don't complain much to them because I don't feel like they will understand because until her newborn was born everyone else had only one child. Now I feel like I am obviously doing something right.

 

Good for you! I like pushing our stroller and pulling the cart b/c people will get out of my way! I know my arm muscles are stronger b/c of it too! I have two friends who are pregnant with #2 and they keep calling me asking me about baby products! It cracks me up!

Thanks for posting this, you are the woman! I push the stroller and pull a cart too, I was wondering if others did this too!

Isn't that the best feeling? When someone realizes that you rock! That you can do something that they are struggling with? :clapping: WTG! I'm glad she said something! I think a lot of times people just stay quiet.

 

SUPERWOMAN!!! I struggle to get out with just the 2 of them and i haven't even attempted shopping alone yet. Abit of recognition from your friends is always nice as i am sure that unless you have had twins you can't understand the obstacles twinmums face. Well done you!!
