    Hello there!
I am brand new to the First Year. Just had my girls on December 28th.
We are still trying to figure this all out!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it ok if both babies wake up at the same time to feed them their bottles while they are in their bouncy seats?
Is it safe just so long as their heads are up?
I am so confused on so many levels on what is right & what is not!!
If they fall asleep in their bouncy seats should I move them to their bassinettes or let them sleep in their seats?
Thanks so much for any replies & any advice is MORE than welcome!!!!

    ~tamara (very tired new mommy.....)

I would feed them anywhere I could and let them sleep anywhere they would for the first couple of months.

I agree with the pp, I fed them where ever was easier and let them sleep where ever they were until they started to get older and then tried to get them to sleep more in their cribs and not on the couch or in their bouncers.

Congrats! I fed mine where ever they were comfortable at that age is really doesn't matter. As for sleeping mine would not sleep in anything but their infant carrier the first month, then bouncers and nothing else until finally I put them in their crib one day at about 3 months. Do what causes the least amount of conflict, it's hard enough in the beginning..GL!

Agree with pp also. Feed anywhere( couch, bouncer ,car seat). As for sleeping. My rule is "never wake a baby". If they are sleeping they must be comfortable. I put mine in their beds now when they are tired. But earlier on they slept on couch , in bouncers, swings, car seats, on playmats,on my bed.
Congrats on the little ones!!!! And remember to sleep when they sleep.

Congratulations! As PPs have said - feed wherever you can and let them sleep anywhere they are comfortable. If they are too "floppy" in their bouncy seats you can use rolled receiving blankets or rolled cloth diapers to help position their heads and shoulders on either side. In the beginning let them sleep wherever they want. Bouncy seats, swings, car seats, wherever.

Feeding where ever works. As little ones they will usually sleep where ever. But if you want them to sleep in beds I would definately move them to the bassinet or crib. What ever they get used to they will do. As mine started to doze I would move them to the bassinet so they would get used to sleeping in there. If you always want them to sleep in the bouncy then leave them. But know it will have long term affects.

I feed mine where ever. They both sleep in their bouncers at night because I want them upright and easy to view from the couch (I have been sleeping on the couch)

I have mine nap where ever during the day, whether its in their swings, bouncers or pack n play.

Congratulations on your twins! Like the others have said, feed them in whatever manner is most convenient to you. As long as they can drink without dribbling too much out of their mouths, then I would definitely suggest feeding them at the same time. My didn't get very good at drinking until about a month old so we started feeding them together after that.

For sleeping, you can either let them sleep whereever they are or you can start putting them in their beds now. They are still young enough that they aren't attached to a certain place yet but they will start getting used to certain places quickly. If you can, start putting them to bed as soon as you see the first tired sign (rubbing the face, yawning, grabbing the ears, etc.) This will usually happen 1-2 hours after they wake up. If you put them down right away you can often get them to sleep in their beds. If you are fine with them sleeping in the living room, that's okay though. :) Just do whatever is easiest for you!
