Right now this is what our schedule looks like:
    8 - bottle and fruit/cereal
    11 - bottle
    2 - bottle
5 - bottle and veggie/meat or just veggie
    8 - bottle

pedi mentioned i should add a 3rd meal and do their meat/veggies in the afternoon and fruit and cereal for breakfast and dinner.
my LO's barely eat their dinner!! they eat 1/2 a jar of 4 oz food...they split the 4 oz jar. SOMETIMES together, they only eat half the jar!

i am just not sure where to add it or if i should extend the time between feedings. they dont scream for food anymore and i just feed them every 3 hours.

The baby's wake up around 6a.m.
They have a 8oz bottle right away

    Then they play etc.
Breakfast about 7:30 appx 5 TBSP of oatmeal each.
Danny is they better eater....he'll even eat what Brady won't.

You can pretty much expect a nap within 3 hours of what time they wake up. Usually, 9a.m.

They have a bottle right before nap.

Snack after they wake up. Puffs or half a Yogurt.

PLaytime...I like to take them outside and swing them. Or Gymboree
    Lunch 12:30

Nap at 2:30 with another bottle.
    dinner at 5:30
bath, then another bottle 8 oz about 6:30

I must mention these boys are in the 90th and 75th percentile in ht, wt :rotflmbo:

I can't keep up with all the feeds.

Yours sounds similar to mine, except they get bottles every 4 hours. One of my DS still gets 5 bottles b/c of weight issues, the other is down to 4.

    7:30 bottle
    8:30-yogurt w/ oatmeal
    nap
    11:30-bottle
    1:00-veggie
    3:30 bottle
nap somewhere in here or before the bottle
    5:00 veggie
    7:00 bottle
    bed
10:30 bottle for one DS--dream feed

Mine dont' eat a lot--well at least one. WE try to get one to take at least half a 4 oz container for each feed--sometime we get 3/4 of a container, sometimes only 1/4. The other one will finish one container at breakfast and dinner. and at Lunch we give 1/2 w/ puffs or cheese, etc. to get them used to chewing.

Would think you can try to move them to 4 bottles as long as they are taking enough right now in their bottles. They usually make up the one you take out.

I wouldn't really worry too much about the amount of solids that they are eating right now. They are just learning & it's all nothing but practice for them, so as long as they are eating at least some when you feed them, it's fine. All of their nutrition at this point is coming from their formula. How many ounces are they taking in each bottle? It might be that 4 larger bottles might work better for you than 5 smaller ones?

6:30 - wake up and nurse
7:15 - breakfast - usually a bowl of oatmeal and 1-2 bowls of fruit
    8:30 - nurse/ bottle
    11:30 - nurse/ bottle
12:15 - lunch - usually a bowl of a veggie and a bowl of fruit - I plan to start giving yogurt here soon
    4:00 - nurse / bottle
5:00 - dinner - bowl of fruit, bowl of veggie, and a third bowl - I keep trying meat here but they are not fans
    6:30 - nurse/bottle and then bed
11:30ish - Alex wakes up to nurse

My older two ate much less food than the boys. Nick in particular loves solids and he yells between bites if you don't get back to him fast enough. I am so worried about my future food bills.

We do four bottles between 6-8 oz (8, 11, 4, 8). We also do two meals (1 jar of vegies, 1 of fruit at each meal) at 12 and 7. This works really great for us.

I've seen the bolded part above mentioned a lot here, so I guess I am wondering when should a person start worrying about how many solids their baby is eating?? Since they should be mostly on solids by around 1 year old (at least I think that's the case) then it seems like somewhere between 8 months and 1 year if you don't think your LOs are eating enough solids it is time to worry (or at least question how much). I'm a little worried that my guys don't eat enough solids, especially Colin, but I know they still have time to get better at it. Just not sure when I should worry...Our boys also currently take about 5 bottles of 6 oz each. We just can't get them to take more than 6 oz.
