Favorite store for special outfits?

I am on the search for 2 cute coming home outfits. I have something in mind but am having a hard time finding it. I would love to have a sweater one piece outfits for coming home and first time to church and the like. It doesn't even have to be a one piece romper like outfit. It can be a sweater and sweater pants outfit. I need new born or 0-3 mos size.

I would love to have some links to some stores that have nice outfits that could be considered for coming home outfits.

We had really super cute coming home outfits picked out and ready to go in newborn size - we had the matching one piece outfits, bibs, hats, socks, blanket, everything....I made it just about full term with the girls but they were still so small that the outfits I'd bought were WAY too big! So they wound up wearing some of the preemie outfits that my MIL bought for me after they were born - and they were swaddled in most of the pictures anyway.

But to answer your question - for newborn baby clothes my favorite store was Carters.

 

Yeah, I am worried about the size too! I have 2 preemie outfits that I found, but just don't love but would work and they will be in the bag for the hospital. I would still like to find 2 sweater outfits for either pics, or just because! I love the look of them. I may go to Carters and find 2 more preemie outfits to have on hand. I have a coupon to use too!

 

I love Carters for newborn baby clothes. IMO newborn babies look cuter in clothes that are made for babies (like one-pieces) than in miniature versions of adult clothes. Now when they get to be a year old and are walking, then I like the miniature adult clothes (like jeans and shirts). But for newborns I like the stuff that looks like it is for babies.

 

I know Janie and Jack (though sometimes pricey) has a really cute sweater and sweater pant outfit at the stores and online. They carry premie sizes too!

I checked the web site and found 2 outfits that would be cute and they are on sale! They both have owls on them. I don't really want to dress my twins id if possible. I will if I can't find 2 outfits that go nicely together. Thanks for the idea of Janie and Jack!

 

I had a cute off-white sweater one piece that both my boys wore. It wasn't newborn size though. I think it ran 3-12mo. It had a little sweater cap and booties too. It fit when they were 3-6 mo. I loved it. I think it's the kind of outfit you are looking for. I bought it at Baby Gap. I don't know if they have anything like it now, but it's worth checking.
