We have the Chicco Polly chairs, which have been okay for us. They are super easy to clean (they have a detachable cover that goes over the tray that is much easier to maneuver in the sink than the whole tray and it would fit in our dishwasher--though we usually need it again before we run the diswasher). Space is an issue for us; so I appreciate that it folds up easily. My only criticism is that the tray is hard to get on and off. I can definitely forsee some pinched fingers in our future. It's not that big of a deal--we just have to be careful; but in the interest of full disclosure, that's been our experience.

    Good luck!

the fisher-price healthy care was highly reco'd to us by friends, who'd bought it because it was rated well in baby bargains (safety, etc) we got the rainforrest version and haven't used them yet, but they sure are cute!

    good luck!

Hi Jeri Lynn, yeah, I saw that Baby Bargains rated the FP ones the highest. I know they're not most chic looking things, but people seem to love their useability. Also the BB book recommended the Chicco Polly and Graco Contempo (although there was a recall on the Contempo in 2006). I look forward to hearing what you guys think about these :) Thanks gain.

I have 2 of the Peg-Peregos and I love them. They recline nicely to help with head control in the early months of using it. The tray comes off so you can wash it. It has a five point harness and it glides across the floor. I am sure most highchairs have alot of the same functions, but I have no complaints about the Pegs.

If you have an IKEA near you ... these inexpensive high chairs are the bomb. They don't stand out like a sore thumb, you can hose them down, they come apart so you can transport them, they don't have the nocs and crannies for food to hide in and smell. Every mother in Australia LoVEs these... oh and cheap cheap cheap.

The chair is 19.00 the tray is 5.00 and the blow-up inner for smaller children is 5.00 = 30.00 !!

If you don't like it -- which I doubt ... you can give it to a MIL or mother to have at her house for feeds, or travel, or outside at BBQs.

We love our Chicco Pollys also. They came recommended by friends and by all of the people at Babies R Us. They are sooo easy to clean and seem comfy.

I have this one too. One is pink for Natalie, the other one is green in a nature print. I love it b/c both have 2 trays and are very very easy to fold up and clean under.

Do you all think the Chicco Polly or the Fisher Price Zen would be better? I really want a substantial high chair w/wheels, 5 pt. harness and recline for both.

we have FP space savers, too- they recline, have 5pt harness/straps, even adjustable tray angles- easy to clean, wipe up, etc. and they convert to booster seats later. just another vote for that one :)

I obviously don't own one yet, but the potential issue I see with the FP Zen chair is the fabric seat. Otherwise it seems great and the other FPs get great reviews.
