i feel so lost and confused about discipline. they still are babies in my mind, but they are starting to do things that arent safe, like try and pull the safety plugs in the outlets out, etc. ive baby proofed everything i can. standing in the tub, pushing eachother down when one takes something from the other, etc. i loved hshhc and still look back at certain parts, is there a go-to book you like for discipline? i just dont want to have 2 little brats (like a friends 20 m/o holy cow hes a terror and doesnt listen!). i know kids will be kids, and theyre still young (9.5m adjusted) but id like to read up now before it gets bad. tia!

I have not used a book for discipline but I've heard good things about 1-2-3 Magic or something like that. I do one minute time-outs in their crib.

I love 1-2-3 Magic by Thomas Phelan. We started using it at about 2 years old and they really get it now. Definitely worth the read.

i really enjoyed happiest toddler on the block and doc sears' the discipline book. i also plan on reading the successful child, also by sears. peneolope leach has a lot of good stuff about discipline in her book your baby and child, also.

We have only used 1-2-3 Magic. It's worth a read - and it's a quick one, too! :)
