I am looking to get a few for my kiddos (they love kid music), and am looking for some good suggestions?

I don't think you can go wrong with Laurie Berkner. Her songs are so darn catchy! And a lot of them-you can do movements to. My boys seem to enjoy her. Also-I have a Baby Einstein one for the car-and when they would fuss...I would put that on-and INSTANTLY they would stop crying. CRAZY!

My kids are huge Laurie Berkner fans. We also own almost every Veggie Tales CD available (I know that's not for everyone, but the Veggie Tales Sings the 70's CD is awesome!) and they really like Jack's Big Music Show, which includes some Laurie Berkner.

We just have a generic Toddler Songs set (I think it was 4 CDs) that my boys love. I have a few of those mix CDs that you see in kiosks at Walmart/Target/etc that they enjoy, too. For the car, I always have Kenny Loggin's "Return to Pooh Corner". I've played it when they were fussy or were supposed to go to sleep since they were BORN & it still works. Love it.

We like the They Might Be Giants Kids CDs here. One is general, one is letter themed songs and one number themed.

Blue Moo by Susan Boynton -- a book/CD combo. I loved it right away -- they didn't really start to get it until they were about 2, but now they request it all the time.

Other than that, they seem to prefer "toddler music" (various renditions of Bingo, I've Been Workin' on the Railroad, etc.). It sort of drives me nuts, but they really like to hear songs that they actually know.

I really like Putamayo "World Playground" ones.

We have a Fisher Price one that has the songs from all the Fisher Price toys. They LOVE that CD!

My girls also love Laurie Berkner. But they have also always loved Ralph's World. We have this cd/dvd combo and they just love it (as do dh and I). I think you can sample some of the songs so take a listen and see for yourself.

If you click on the little words Ralph's World right above the stars rating and then click on the cd, it will bring you to a menu to hear the songs. HTH

Us too. Well, I'm a big TMBG dork anyway, so it's nice to listen to music I like. They like some other TMBG songs too that aren't "kid's", like Dr. Worm, and for some reason, Whistling in the Dark. They also like The Sound of Music soundtrack, especially Do Re Mi. Generic kid's music is a hit too, although it can drive me up the wall. I "lost" the Fisher-Price sing-a-long CD we had. They loved it, but it was so annoying! We were also stuck on the Curious George soundtrack for a while too.
