So I'm still on the quest for the best baby bibs...we still have some of the cloth Carter's bibs, but they are getting ragged. I've also bought the Target brand with the pockets, that are holding up OK so far, but I can already tell they won't go the distance.

So I saw these at Right Start, they seem really good quality, but of course are a little more than I'm used to spending, but still not that bad. Totally worth the money if I don't ever have to buy anymore!

    What's the best bib ever?

p.s When did you STOP using bibs??

    TIA,

    Jennifer :)

I love the Bumpkins bids for solid feeding. They work great and clean up really easy. I bought mine at BRU and I swear they were $5.99 a piece which would put them a little cheaper than the price you found. I think they are worth the money. We use the Carter's bids for the times when they are getting milk/formula in a sippy cup.

I like the Bumkins bibs a lot. We have a lot of the regular bib style, and 2 of the sleeved bibs for extra messy food. I don't see us giving up bibs anytime soon, and my DD's are almost 2.

I bought some Bippity bibs, the harder plastic with the pocket in front and while I liked them, it seemed my girls' hair was always getting caught when I was taking them off and putting them on.

So I went out and bought Bumkins and LOOOOOVE them!! I bought mine for $5.99 each at BRU (as pp mentioned) and think they are worth every penny. My girls have no problems keeping bibs on, so I figure I'll keep putting them on as long as I can since they still make pretty good messes.

We have the short-sleeved Bumkins bibs . I think they are well worth the money. The sleeves help the bib stay in place a bit more and cover the clothes better. I throw them in the wash on gentle every so often. Remember to check the pockets of the bib after every meal!

I always liked them but I love the Kiddopotamus Roll Up Bibs ... they're great for when they start eating pieces and it's even better that they have a catch tray!!! Highly recommend them!!!

We just bought (per a friends suggestion) the ones from One step Ahead; Same idea and LOVE them! We only got the blue ones just in case I didn't like them, but am going to order the girl ones too.

We have been using the BRUS terry cloth ones up till now but they just make the shirt stay wet and gross.

These bibs can be hand washed and air dried before their next meal and they catch food well with finger foods. You could probably put the in the washer too but I am not going to do laundry every day and hand wahing them takes less time anyway with the small bibs.

They keep their shirts dry too which is a bonus!

Love them and I throw them right in the washer/dryer with the rest of the clothes. Only complaint is that after about a year of use, the tend to hold odors. When I pull one out of the drawer it has a odor to it, but after it airs it, it's fine. They are supposed to be made of cloth, so I guess odors are part of the bargain.

We've never had to replace them and the velcro is better than other I've used.

I love these bibs. We have two and that is all you need. They clean up so easily and catch a lot of food! One of my best purchases.

we love the kiddopatmous bibs as well. They do stain a bit, but they are so much easier than the el cheapo plastic ones we got at Targer.

Bumkins are completely worth the money. I had a total of 4 and they used them for years, LOL. When they were nearly 4, they'd ask for a bib before eating something messy. Someone  had told them over and over and over when they were 8 months old "you have to wear your bib to eat."

I washed the Bumkins after each meal and laid them across my utensil jar to dry, so there was always a set ready to go. I'd put them in the washer whenever they matched the load.

Love, love, love my bumkins. Very easy to clean and reuse without having to put them in the washing machine after each use.

We have 4 Bumkins bibs, and I LOVE them, too! I stick them into a soapy water tub after eating to soak, wash them when I clean the kitchen, and hang them over my kitchen cabinet knobs to dry. They were always my favorites for my oldest dd, and are again with the twins. Definitely worth the money, IMO :good: !

Bumkins are/were our favorites! We used the superbibs at first and then the Toddler bibs (with short sleeves) and then went back to the superbibs again when they got less messy!

I have 5 Bumkins bibs I got when the girls were 6 months old and I'm now using them for Dax. They've held up well. I like the ones you posted a link to and I also like the short-sleeved ones Kelly mentioned above. Those are nice because the kids invariably turn their heads to look around and the sleeves protect their clothes from the food. Definitely look around for a better price.

Bumkins are the only bibs we will buy! The boys love them too and asked for them to stay on. They had long ago stopped keeping other bibs on.

I've gotten ours at Amazon.com when I get free shipping over $25.
