Father's day

    I've been trying to think of cute ideas for my DH's first Father's Day, but can't think of anything cute, meaningful, and fairly inexpensive. My DH dd an amazing job making me feel special on my first Mother's Day and I wanted to do the same for him. Does anyone know what they're doing or have any ideas? :)

    I am doing the same things this year as last, as he loved it....a mug with pics of the kids on it from photobucket.com, he keeps it at work and can see the kids all day as can everyone else :) That along with a handwritten card/note with notes of how wonderful a dad he is.

    I feel the same way - my hubby was so great for my first Mommy's Day too!
    I am doing the mug idea- but having their hand and foot prints put on them.
    Would love to hear some other ideas!

    Love the mug idea... we got my Dh an inexpensive watch ($35 Walmart) and had it engraved for about $10 at Things Remembered. He loves it.

    I am getting a picture frame (you can find NICE cheap ones anywhere) and putting a pic of them at birth with him, a pic of them with him now and then one with a homemade sign I am going to get them to hold (try to anyway) that says happy 1st fathers day then arrange them in a nice frame!

    I went to walmart and bought huge poster boards, cut out the letters D A D and colored them with markers then had each of my girls hold a letter for a picture. I arranged all 3 pics in a nice frame. DH is currently living in a hotel 3 states away for the next 6 mths for his job, so he'll be able to display the picture to remind him of the kids.

    I had one of those picture books made from Walmart. Also for a bit more you can look at digital picture frames. There are smaller ones too that are cheaper.

    This is what I did for DH's 1st Father's Day with DS. He loved it!

    He keeps saying he wants a pic of me with the kids for his desk at work instead of one of me and one of them, so that is what he is getting. A pic of me with the kids in a frame that says WE LOVE YOU!
