Father's day gifts...

Morning!!

I am looking for ideas for Father Day gifts from my boys. I was going to go to a pottery place and do mugs with their hand prints, but the place is very nonkid friendly.

Anyone else have any ideas that don't cost a ton?

Gifts we've done:

I did a mug on Shutterfly one year with a picture of the twins on it ( pre-Liam). I did a photobook (also shutterfly) from when the twins were born until that year. Last year, I got the letters D-A-D and had each kid hold one. I then put the photos in a three picture collage frame to spell Dad. (You could do one boy holding each D and then of both of them with the A and do the frame like that). At their daycare one year, they did footprints of fabric paint all over white boxers, it was really cute.

 

Last year I went to Michael's and bought a stepping stone kit with concrete and mosaic glass pieces. I did both of the boys' footprints side by side, and used the included letter stamps to put their names and the date, then decorated using the glass bits. It was pretty cheap (about $14) and not terribly original, but DH loved it immensely and is going to install it in our yard this year.

Not sure what I'm doing this year, but I'd better get started thinking about it!

 

Family Fun Father's Day Ideas

My Father's Day gifts have not been terribly creative :blush: His first Father's Day the kids got him a shirt and T-shirt that said Property of my Family 24/7 and we took him to his favorite place for dinner (Famous Dave's)
Last year, the kids got him an I-Tunes card so he could download the MLB app for his I-Phone.
This year, I've already put in an order for Phillies tickets (DH :wub: the Phillies) and have to think of something else, so these ideas are great!

 

I don't usually do gifts (he's a cheapo and unless it's free he doesn't want it LOL) but we make the day his. He LOVES going to the zoo and museums so we almost always do that the day before or day after and I make him all of his favorite foods. I know not very creative but it's what we do
