Fast approaching 4

sniff, sniff ... can't believe they're gonna be 4 :cry: :wub:

Is there one or a few things that your kids really enjoyed at 4?

We are debating on a "game" system thingy. To be honest, I don't know what's out there or if I even want to venture down that road at such a young age. But I would like to know more about them if anyone would be so kind to share.

sigh ... I don't know if I'm ready for this time of the year yet. :wine:

 

Anything Imaginext or Geotrax, it's my son's favorites (with the old plain cars).

We have mobigos and love them, but mostly use them as rewards at this point. Don't want them to spend all their time playing them (we got them for a plane trip and it was lifesavers but would probably have waited otherwise).

 

My girls love their balance bikes! Although, I wish we had gotten them last year which was our original plan. Oh well! They're enjoying the stink out of them now.

The other gift that I really liked was that my brother bought them plants to plant in their garden that they've been working on with DH all summer. My brother & his girlfriend came over & helped the girls plant them. I can't decide if I liked it so much because the girls enjoyed it so much or because I'm so proud of my little brother for coming up with such an awesome idea.

 

I got my boys the Vtech Innotabs for their 4th birthday in January. They LOVE them and they have been life savers at Dr's appointments, long car rides ect.

They just came out last November and they already have an updated version. The older ones are now going for $59.99 vs $79.99 for the newer models which I think now have a camera and you can watch/shoot video.

 

Do they have bikes? We got them bikes for their 4th birthday and they were a big hit. We also have the Leapster Explorers for the kids. We use them on car rides and occasionally around the house. Both kids like paying the different games.

 

we got the girls leappads for their 4th birthday. (we set them up and programmed and then re-packaged them before we gave them to the girls... cuz that part takes a while). they got lite brites and love those. and a bunch of girly stuff

 

My son loves the ImageNext sets still at 6 close to 7 years old. He started getting them when he was three. He plays the most with the Bat Cave and Joker House.

 

My girls love the minature lala loopsey dolls and anything fairy. They still love their magnadoodles also. The new thing we just got them for their birthday is the la dee da dolls and they love them as well.
