I had my first scare yesterday after tripping over a laptop case at work and landing hard on my right knee, hip, and shoulder. I called the doc and he had me go to the hospital for monitoring. I starting having contractions every 2-3 minutes, so they gave me a shot and put me on an IV. After resting for four more hours without contractions, they let me go home. My body is pretty sore today, but the babies are fine and moving around a lot. I only have six more work days until I go on modified bedrest...

The funniest part of the entire event came when I called my husband to come get me. He asked me how hard I fell and I told him that when a 200 pound woman falls, it's a pretty hard hit. He said, "you're 200 pounds?!" He never realized that even though I've gained 32 pounds and very clearly have a large belly that I could weight that much. :rotflmbo:

Glad the babies are ok. I hope you feel better soon. Leave it to DH to add a bit of humor.

Glad that you and the babies are okay. That happened to me at the end of my last pregnancy. I landed right on my belly after slipping on ice. It's seriously hard to be graceful when you have a baby or two inside of you. :hug99:
