Thursday afternoon I was coming down the stairs into the kitchen and as soon as I hit the linoleum...BOOM...hit the floor! One of my boys spilled some water on the floor and I didn't see it...slipped and fell! I hit pretty hard...it made me cry and I'm pretty tough about pain! I fell on my left hip...my youngest ran up and said "mommy what's wrong?" They don't like seeing me cry! I waited a few minutes and got up and went to the next room and sat down! I called my g-ma and she asked me if I was bleeding or anything which was a no. I went to the hospital and they ran some tests and everything ended up to be fine....they did a kb blood test to determine if the placenta was damaged but it takes a few days for that test to come back! But they told me that everything else looked good so everything is probably ok! I'm not cramping or anything like that just a little sore where I hit and all the way across my back side! That's the 2nd time I fell this pregnancy! Yesterday I was going down the steps and almost fell again...not understanding what's going on with me...lol Is it just coincidental? Now a little paranoid and pretty much just staying in one room on the carpet!

By the way I'm 19 weeks....they said the babies were protected a lot more now than they would be if I was further along.

Poor you!! I know what you mean, I've been feeling wobbly lately, I've been using handrails like my life depends on it and going really slow. I hope you feel batter soon! Take care.

I fell yesterday. My 3 year old though it would be cute to sit right at my feet, so I'd move, and he'd get right back under there. I forgot he was down there and walked forward to get something from the kitchen, and toppled over him. Luckily I landed on my hands and knees, but it scared the c--p out of everyone watching, not to mention how great it felt on my wrists.

I have a friend who is a reproductive endo. When I was pregnant with my DD, he told me falling is a problem with pregnant women because the hormones loosen all of our joints. He said even though you don't realize it, your body is harder to manage because of this and falling is much easier.

I passed out and fell on my stomach when I was 19 weeks pregnant and bruised my face really good. The babies were fine and I had no problems from the fall, so I know your pain. I was very clumsy when I was pregnant and everyone told me that was completely normal.
