Failed my 1 hr...

Hi ladies,

I had my one hour test Tuesday, and not suprisingly, I failed. My level was 146, it's supposed to be under 140. I did end up having GD with my twins...when I was pregnant with them, my 1 hr came back at 168, so I'm still holding out hope that maybe I'll pass the 3 hour this time since my 1 hr wasn't that bad.

So....anyone here have GD with their twins, and then not in a subsequent singleton pregnancy??? I know my odds aren't great, but I'm trying to be optomistic, it would sure be nice to not have to deal with it all this time!

 

Yep I had it with the girls,. but not with Owen. I was so shocked!

 

With my singleton, my sugar was perfect (84), but I failed my one hour with the twins (142). I did pass my 3 hour. I hope you pass your 3 hour- I bet you will. 146 is really close to passing.

 

I had 2 DDS 1st with no problems.
Then I had the twins... borderline GD so I had to follow the diet.
This time around I am fine.

 

I'm the opposite...no problems with the boys (my one hour was 110 with them) and had it borderline enough with baby girl, I had to do the diet and medication to keep it in check (my one hour with her was 186...and my three hour was definitely not good).

You were very close to passing so I'll cross my fingers that you pass the 3 hour.

 

Thanks for the responses, I go in tomorrow for the 3hr, so should know Thursday.

 

When I was pregnant with my boys I passed the test by 1 point! With this pregnancy, my blood sugar was way below the limit. I was really surprised. Good luck!
