Failed my 1 Hour Glucose!

Not that I am surprised since I failed it with my daughter, but I really didn't want to have to do the 3 hour!!! I have to be there at 7 in the morning next week!!! UGH! Oh well, Iv will keep my fingers crossed and hope I pass the 3 hour!

 

When I failed the 1 hour with the twins, I passed the 3 hour. It is horrible sitting there all that time without eating, but I was so glad to have passed it. I brought a book and just relaxed and read. Good Luck!!

 

With DD I failed the 1hr, passed the second. Same goes here, but I have had both done twice (18wks and 29wks). I took my thank you cards from the shower to my last 3 hr....made it go by faster.

I passed all of the 3 hrs!!

Thanks for the encouragement... I passed the 3 hour for my 1st pregnancy, and I am hoping to this time as well!

I don't suppose that there is any way to tip the scales in your favor?

 

I know for the one hour that I would never drink OJ, or eat too much in general for at least an hour to two before the test... In fact, I've always done it first thing in the morning... so I have pratically nothing..maybe a very small bowl of cereal like cheerios, or a piece of toast, before I go. Not sure if you have to fast entirely for the 3 hour though... I think people have written before about eating protein and not so much carbs in the 2 days prior... but I would think that food would be out of your system within 12-15 hours anyway.

 

Ok thanks! I am definately hoping to pass the 3 hour! I would have probably eaten differently before the 1 hour had I known they were going to do it!
