I am a few weeks away from delivery and we are trying to decide whether or not to purchase the EZ to Nurse Twin Pillow. Some reviews say they don't like it because it isn't practical for short people or small babies.

Others say it is a lifesaver - what is your opinion.

And, if we do decide to purchase one, does anyone have on they are willing to sell - we are just on a tight budget and can't afford to buy them brand new.

    Thanks

I liked it. I am tall though FWIW. We really never figured out how to tandem nurse without it.

I'm 5'3 and about 120 pounds and I do NOT like my nursing pillow. I have a very short torso and it puts the babies in my armpits when they're on it. And after the baby belly went away (for the most part), a baby was always "falling" into the area between my waist and the pillow. Not fun stuff. I used it for the first few weeks because my belly filled it out and they were so tiny they weren't in my arm pits. But after they were about 3 or 4 months old, I retired it and just used pillows. Now I can use throw pillows, blankets, my knees, a backpack, WHATEVER is around. You'll see

I LOVE it!!! I am not short, but do have a small baby - and yeah, they slip down a but. But it is great for feeding.
    Much better than pillows.

I bought it and NEVER used it. Mine were preemies and very small. I pumped for 8 weeks and never got them to latch on. My advice would be to wait to purchase and make sure that you can breastfeed. I am short also and when I tried it on and tried to place babies on it I could not imagine how I would do it if they were to latch on. It is very wide. Good luck!

That's a great picture Kristi! I think you look good for them being so little! All the pictures of me are of me wearing pajamas all day!

I LOVED my EZ pillow. Be sure to get the foam and not the inflatable version though! We used ours until they weaned after their 1st bday.

I love my pillow, and I'm not sure how I would tandem feed without it. I find I need to put 2-3 pillows behind my back, so that the pillow can sit further back, otherwise I can't reach where the babies heads are.

Maybe this is why I hated mine. I thought I was the only person on this board that hated it!!?? Glad to see I am not a loner! ;) I am also short 5'5". I loved my lazy boy oversized recliner it was the best place to sit and prop up everyone! Here I will post the link again on how we used to nurse (really I am not trying to shove this pic in everyone's face, it just keeps coming up :D ) http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome...JQA&notag=1

I also could nurse anywhere and everywhere after they were about 4 mnths old, a folding chair, a church pew, back seat of the car, at a rodeo in the stands!! You will get the hang of it!!

I love mine!!! I am also 5'3" about 125 lbs. I have never had a problem with it???

You Absolutely HAVE to use the back support pillow with it though, otherwise it makes a gap in front of your body.

I'm 5'3 but a lot heavier than everyone else and I loved mine! Foam is the way to go!

Also 5'3" and I love it!!! I can't imagine tandem nursing w/out it! (Briana - ingenious position, but that does not look comfortable, didn't your back hurt?)

I will say that I DO need the back support pillow and you have to make sure to tighten the strap around your waist, but it's worked great for us these first five months! We also have the foam pillow. Check e-bay!

I highly recommend it! It's what I have used since day one and I don't know how I would be bf without it. I found mine for $15 on craigslist and just bought a new cover. If I were you, I would look at craigslist or ebay and see if you can find one. Good luck!

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

I wish I was done with it and I would give it to you but I hope to nurse them to 12 months ...

It was so worth the $ and the only "baby thing" that we have bought that I feel we REALLY got (get) our money's worth!

I got mine from www.doubleblessings.com if you have a local Mother's of Multiples Club ... see if someone is willing to let you buy a used one ... or our club even has nursing pillows that are donated that just get passed around for free. You could also check Craig's List or EBay. Good luck!

I loved the Ez2Nurse when the babies were newborns. Now that they are bigger and stronger and more wiggly, I have recently discovered the Bosom Baby pillow and absolutely LOVE it. I think its perfect for when they are bigger. I also love it b/c its soft and I can bring it with me when I go out, which enables me to find them out of the house. I couldn't do that with the Ez2Nurse pillow.
