Hi all! I’m looking for something that works well for chronic wounds with a lot of drainage. My dad’s dealing with a pressure ulcer, and the dressings we’ve used either leak or irritate his skin. Any product suggestions that really manage exudate?

Hey! We had a similar issue with my uncle’s diabetic wound — lots of fluid, and hard to keep the area clean. What helped us was Silver Foam Wound Dressing https://sns-medical.com/products/silver-foam-dressing by Safe n Simple. It’s designed to absorb moderate to high levels of exudate and still keeps the skin around the wound protected. The foam locks in moisture but doesn’t oversaturate, so there’s no leaking or skin breakdown. Plus, the silver helps keep bacteria under control, which gave us peace of mind. It’s been a reliable option for daily wound care without the hassle of constant dressing changes.
