i'm 21 weeks today and my belly has been "sore" all day It feels very much like sore pulling sensation which I know sounds just like RLP but I've only had shooting RLP not this constant achey pain. And about 10 minutes ago I got really naseous.

The nausea is better now but I'm not sure if I should call my OB, call the peri, or just chalk it up to normal pg pains....

We travelled to Atlantic City and while I drank tons of water and got lots of rest etc.. etc.. it was still a much more active weekend then usual.

I have a cervix check appt at the peri Wednesday afternoon but all this pain is making me kind of worried.

What do you think I should do?

    TIA

It sounds like normal pains to me and the nausea sounds like a hormonal level change. I also had that around that time I would also get light headed. HTH. If you are too uncomfortable call your Dr.

You know - I would just call the OB/Peri just to be safe. Better safe then sorry - right? I hope you feel better soon.

I'm not sure what RLP is, but you can always call your OB to ease your mind.

I am of the mindset better safe than sorry, also. I would call and request to be seen, not just talk to them. I have heard of too many people that were told it's nothing and NOT be seen, then have complications. If you can't get into your OB, I would go to L&D. Some may think I'm overly cautious, but I'd rather pay $100 copay to learn my babies are safe than save $100 and have something go wrong.

RLP = Round Ligament Pains. It took me a second to figure it out. That's not one I see people abbreviate too often - just every once in a while. It's a good one to shorten though, don't you think? :)

I did call and speak to one of the nurses at the OB's office and b/c I'm not having any menstrual cramping or bleeding they think it's just normal stretching pains etc...

I do have an appt at the peri on Wednesday. If I'm still feeling this way tomorrow or it's worse I'll call them and see if they'll see me tomorrow instead....

I don't think t's not BH b/c my belly is soft but then again what do I know as I haven't (to my knowledge) experienced any BH yet.

Gosh I love being pregnant but hate all the worries that accompany it..... maybe going home and laying down will help. Only 1 hour left in the day.

Thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate it!
