I go to my OB tomorrow so I will ask her opinion but was anyone restricted for travel before 28 weeks when expecting twins? Other than massive weight gain and constipation (i think they are related), I have been complication free.

I didn't have any travel restrictions thankfully. I went to Ireland at 10 weeks, Cancun at 14 weeks and Florida at 27 weeks. I had all these trips scheduled before I found out I was pregnant. Just advised to get up and move once an hour and drink lots of water. Hope you get to go on your trip.

We're only at 10-1/2 weeks, but at this point our OB said DW could fly as late as she'd like to. He even offered to fudge our due date if we wanted to go on a cruise after the 24 week cutoff, but we wouldn't consider that anyway. We are planning to go home to see my family around week 28 or 29, but will book that last minute in case anything changes. We'd go sooner but DW can't get any more time off of work... so we'll go right after she quits! :D

At the 24 week mark, my OB did not want me to travel more than an hour away from a top NICU. I was allowed to travel up to Lake George, which is 3 hours from here, but I was under orders to go directly to Albany Medical Center if I had an issues and he had me print out directions before I left. His reasoning was that at 24 weeks, if I went into labor, then the babies could survive with the top of the line care. I just made the trip again at 29 weeks, but it was physically hard on me so that's going to be my last trip until after the boys are born.

ETA: I flew at around 22 weeks and it was tough. I had flown a month earlier with no issues, but the same 3 hour flight at 22 weeks was physically uncomfortable.

Nope. I flew from Oregon to Boston alone with my two older kids while I was 25W with the twins then returned home with the kids at 29W. The home trip was really hard because of the long flight and little room to move around, close quarters, and my constant nausea. Aside from that, all was good.
