At what age did all of you start to use exersaucers and jumperoos? I remember my older two loving them but I can not remember when I started them??? My twins just turned 3 months - can we use them now???? TIA

Hello! They need to have enough neck and head support before putting them in. I think mine were about 4 1/2 or 5 months. Hope this helps.

Exersaucer was around 3.5 months(with blankets stuffed around them), and jumper was a little later than that.

Mine were about 4 months also when they started in the exersaucer. We haven't attempted a jumper yet because they don't seem interested in jumping even now at 6 months.

If they've got good upper body and neck/head control, you can try them out. You'll see right away if they're not ready, 'cause they'll be slumping over and looking pathetic! I think 4 months was when mine enjoyed the exersaucer and we only recently (in the last 2 months) got the jumperoo out 'cause we noticed that one of our twins was jumping in the exersaucer.

We just tried the exersaucer this week and the jumper yesterday for the first time. But they've had good head and neck control for the last month so we could have probably tried them sooner.

As poor the Doctors orders we started my son in the Exersaucer 2 weeks ago. :) He said it is great for helping with the reflux. He was right and my son loves it! My daughter doesn't know what to think of it so we do not use it for her yet!

They are getting a Jumperoo for Christmas!

Four months for us! They didn't quite like the jumper until about 5.

Mine are almost 5 months and we just started with the jumperoo. They like all the stuff on it but havn't quite got the hang of jumping yet, the more we use it the better they get. They might be a little young for the the jumperoo and I havn't tried an exersaucer.

we just started using ours last week, but the boys can really hold their heads up well all by themselves. I think that's really important.

We started the exersaucer at 4 months with folded receiving blankets around them and the jumper at 6 months, but they didn't start really liking the jumper until about 9 months.

We started them at about 4 mos. with blankets around them. We did the same thing with our oldest dd.

We stuffed blankets in and started around 3-3.5 months. Savannah loves sitting up...so this was a great thing and now at 5 months we have a jumparoo, excersaucer and walker type thing, they love it all. :)
