So I need to get some exercise and get myself a little more in shape. Going to the gym isn't an option, and it's too cold to go on walks like we used to- so I'm thinking a video might be my best bet. I see a lot of "mom and baby" work out vids- are there any that are any good? I guess I'd have to trade off babies- stick one in the PNP while I "worked out" the other... but I guess that's life w/ two, huh? ;)

SO anyone have any good suggestions? Oh, and I'm looking at beginners level here....

    Thanks!

Do you have "on demand" cable by any chance? They have lots of workout videos and they change them out about once a month or so, so there is always something new to try. You may try it, and then if you like it, you can always search amazon.com for the video you liked. That's what I do to find new ones.

I haven't tried any mom and baby videos.. I have a few crunch videos and i like them. They are good for beginner to intermediate level. I really like tae bo dvd's. There are beginner and advanced levels. The beginner is good, challenging but doable and advanced is really intense. I think i get a better workout from these dvds. Good luck!

I just bought the turbo jam series from an infomercial I saw. I LOVE IT! I've always loved kick boxing cardio classes, and this is that type of workout. So fun, but challenging too. Expensive (80 or so for 5 workouts), but worth it. Either turbojam.com or beach body workouts site. That's my two cents.

I'm sure you've seen the P90X commercials on tv, I did Tony Hortons original videos, Power 90, and they were the easiest videos I had ever done and I lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks. I don't know if they still sell Power 90 @ beachbody.com and i haven't yet tried P90X, but as soon as I get our tax return I'm getting the videos. I love Tony Horton!!!

I like the Slim in 6 series, which is by beach body as well. I also really recommend The Firm, www.firmdirect.com. With diet and exercise I took off 20 pounds in a couple of months. I tried P90X and personally thought it was hard and switched to Slim in 6. GL and let us know what worked for you :) .
