Who pressed the fast forward button on my darn ticker??? :woah: It seems that I feel this way around the same time every year. As our friends start to turn a year older, and I get choked up with each of their passing birthdays, and it's summer so time is passing quicker anyway, my ticker seems to speed up!! HOLY COW I cannot believe I'm going to have 4 year olds soon.

Sooo, anyone else feel like the ticker is on super fast mode? :grouphug:

Yes  And I sold the girls' cribs yesterday and I'm feeling emotional. When did our babies become KIDS!?!?

Wow, 4??? Unbelievable! Some days I just watch the kids and see all they can do now and I can't believe how "grown up" they are.

I'm freaking out because my two are going to be 5 months away from three and I'm thinking, "Wasn't I pregnant yesterday?"

A&R are turning 3 in a few weeks. I know they aren't babies anymore. Especially when Alice says things like, "Look I have small soft boobies" and they can tell who sings certain songs. And Royce tells me of the dragons that live on his thumb.

And the fact that they are making up words to the Jeopardy theme.

    "I like cars and
    I like bears
I like cookies *and* Ilikemom (I think that's what she's saying)
    I like cars and
    I like bears
I like mommy she is fun." :shok:

ETA: It's not a few weeks, it is exactly ONE MONTH AWAY!!!

Nothing says I'm growing up more than a 3 1/2 year old singing "When I was 13, I had my first love" . Apparently, he likes Justin Bieber and Ludacris. :)

I'm with you Chelley. I can't believe how fast our kids our growing up. I think it hits me more when I see pictures of your kids & see how much they've grown and I know mine have to be growing that much too, than when I'm looking at my two since I see them every day. Sometimes I stop & really watch them and I just can't believe how much they've changed! But I do love this age & I know I love 4, too, so in that way I'm happy about it!

I'm with you too. I called to make a "well baby visit" for the girls and was informed that now they are called "well CHILD visits" :faint: The girls will be 4 in 3 days! :shok: Next year this time I will be buying school supplies.

I totally feel like the ticker is in fast mode. Which then makes me think about my own ticker...totally makes me want to have another.

I have a huge lump in my throat reading this. I remember that day too.

I know! I think the same thing. :faint:

I feel the same way, it does feel like it was just yesterday. Clearly WE are not getting older, right?

Your girls are one major reason I started this thread. The other day I was thinking about their birthday.

I'm sort of in the same position. I know we're done, but it's times like these that I'm ready to be pregnant again.

Awwww!!! :birthday: to them!! I know, mine is on super fast forward right now!!

These are all making me want to

Allison had a whole day of saying she was 23, her and Sarah even argued over it because Sarah was adamant that she was 4 and not 23. I don't even want to think about her being 5, much less 23!

So crazy! I remember when they were first born people would say, "It goes by so fast!" And I was all, yeah yeah yeah.... Sure enough, they were right!

Time to change my ticker! :)

Definitely understand this. I just remembered to change mine to 4. :( So sad. I can't believe how old all our children are. Seems like only yesterday we were all preggers.

And I gave away our last double stroller. The jogger. It was kinda sad. Yet liberating. [IMG]

We still have our jogger, but I just sold the Maclaren this morning. I found it a little sad, but mostly liberating!

It amazes me that there is only 14 months till KINDERGARTEN!!!!! That is what hits me the most! I was looking through the school uniform section at Childrens Place the last time I was there making sure I could get uniforms small enough for Abigail! Fortunately they go all the way down to a 4 with adjustable waist!

You ladies are brave! I still have both. I fly by myself every now and then with the girls so the double is a must to zip from gate to gate during layovers.
I am keeping the jogger for a while because I like to take neighborhood walks (at a good clip!).

:woah: :bad: OMG!! When you say it like that it sounds SOOOOO much worse!! :faint:

Awww, I know, they made me tear up too!!
You are definitely NOT alone. :)

Yeah...I can't believe how fast it's going. I would seriously keep having kids if we had the money. I just love the pregnant stage, the infant stage, the EVERYTHING stage. It's truly amazing. I can't believe that in less than three months, my boys will be three. It seems like yesterday I got the phone call from the hospital telling me our first IVF failed, and I thought I would never be a mother! And even Ms. Annabella is on her way to 14 months old. Didn't I just announce I was pregnant with her?!? So sad....

I slowly was ok with getting rid of stuff. Now-most of our friends are now having #2 or #1. And a good friend of mine is having her first in December. So come March, I will have a job, and a fourth child will be in my home for me to watch. So now I get to keep some baby stuff! Dh is thrilled! NOT!

I am seriously thinking of going back to school to be a L&D nurse! Craziness!

It is scary how fast time goes. Just last night as I was cleaning up the upstairs after the kids were in bed, I realized that soon I won't be picking Elmo books up off the floor, there won't be 2 cribs in one bedroom, diapers stacked in cabinets, pacifiers lost under beds, and little guys who still want me to rock them and sing "Rock a Baby". I quickly wrote in all 3 of their journals, of course!

And my 6 year old is going to be a Kindergartener in just 2 weeks!  And the past 6 years have gone by so fast - I know it will be the same with my little guys, too. Sometimes I wish I could freeze time - or at least slow it down some.
