Excited to be here!

    Hi everyone - I am sorta new to this forum. I came here a few times while pg, but then was put on bed rest and this is the first time I have been back since then.

    I had fraternal twin boys - Lucas and Collin - on 5/12/07. I spent 5 weeks on hospital bed rest before they were born at 37 weeks. I then spent 1 week in the hospital after because my blood pressure did not want to come down and I was very sick. Lucas was 6lbs13ozs and Collin was 6 lbs. Collin had to spend a week in the nicu for a hole in his lung - but is happy and healthy today. I also have a 3 yr old (Carter). He is being a great big brother and only acting out a little.

    The babies are sleeping about 5-6 hrs at night. Carter slept 8 hrs at 8 weeks, but I know I was very lucky with him and feel very lucky that the boys are sleeping so well. They each have their own bassinet. Since they spent the first week apart, they wake each other up if they share a bed.

    My journey to have these 3 wonderful boys was very long.... I know that my boys are all miracles and feel very lucky to have them.

    I look forward to getting to know all of you and reading all the great advice! I start a mommy and me twin class on Aug 2 and can't wait! My sil has 3yr old twin boys too so I do know what to expect some what.

    Oh wow, sounds like they are doing very well! That is good that they are sleeping those stretches already.

    Welcome, and I look forward to seeing more of you in the FY forum.

    Silly question, how do I get my photo to appear on the left of the screen? Right now it only shows in my profile?
