Okay you BTDT mommas...Did you guys have either one of those? Both? If so how many of each? Also what age were you first able to use them?

I have 2 exersaucers...one is a super nice one and the other is a cheapy...So I have been looking on craigslist trying to find a cheap jumperoo...but I am not sure I actually need it. Space is a HUGE issue....with 6 people n 975 sq ft...baby stuff is taking over for sure. But honestly anything to keep the kiddos happy and ocupied I am okay with.

I had one of each and around 5 months or so I would stuff a blanket behind them so they could sit upright in them and that's when I began using them. It was great having one of each because then I could rotate them in it and if I was cooking supper or whatever and one would get fussy I would just switch them and it that would give me a few more minutes to do whatever I was doing.

We have a johnny jumper and a jumperoo. My son started using the jumperoo at about 4 months but once he started crawling at 6 months he has not gotten in it again. He never liked the johnny jumper. My daughter would get in the jumperoo for about 15 minutes at a time & that was it. So, once they both started getting really mobile we went ahead and got 2 walkers that they could cruise in & keep them entertained long enough for me to just get the dishwasher loaded without their "help". They are height adjustable so they can even still be lifted up to where their feet don't touch the ground (for now anyways) if I do need to keep them in one spot for a few minutes, and they have a removeable toy center on each. They have LOVED them from the day I bought them. They are the Chicco brand and not as big as a jumperoo. I bought them through Amazon. Now, at 8 1/2 months it's bumper cars in those things and the two little turkeys fly around all over the place, chasing each other and laughing the whole time, and when they aren't in them, they are pushing them around & walking while holding on. I really wish I had thought about getting the walkers before investing over $100 between the jumperoo & johnny jumper that I'm now trying to sell. But, that's just my experience with it. I have a great niece who is 8 months older than my twins and she lived in her jumperoo.

I have both and would definitely buy them again. I started to put my twins in the jumperoo at about 6 months as that is when I got it cheap on craigslist and now I wonder why I waited so long! They absolutely love the jumperoo. I have a really big thing they can sit it. I wouldn't call it an exersaucer as they can walk back and forth in this one for a couple feet. Tons of noise makers on it. My kids aren't extremely mobile yet so they still love them.

Oh, and I found they definitely prefer the jumperoo to exersaucer type things. Maybe put one of yours away if you do get the jumperoo. Space was a big issue for us and I felt so crowded for several months. Little by little you can start putting things away. At one point I had two swings, two bouncy chairs, one saucer, and one jumperoo in our little living room, not to mention the crap my 3 yr. old thought he needed to have out there because he felt left out  . It was literally a maze and vacuuming took two people to get it done. It was worth the crowdedness (if that is even a word).

We had one of each, and they really liked the jumperoo better. I hasn't planned to buy one, but my MIL got us one, and I got the exersaucer on craigslist. They took up a lot of room, but were SO worth it - hours of fun and entertainment. I think we started using them around 5 months if I remember right. DS2 had trouble reaching the floor in the jumperoo at first.

One of each. They were able to use the Exersaucer about a month before the Jumparoo because the Jumparoo was taller and they couldn't touch floor at all until later. Exersaucer around 4.5 months with a blanket filling the extra space. At first they just mostly sat in it and looked around but eventually played with stuff. I loved the one they had and they both seemed to really like it. The Exersaucer had way better toys than the Jumparoo for us- we had the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Jumparoo and the Evenflo Triple Fun Jungle Exersaucer. Once they could use the Exersaucer we just switched them back and forth although Emma never seemed to get into jumping like Eli did so she was in the Exersaucer more. Never saw a need for two of each though. I guess it depends on the kids though.

We only had one jumperoo - we'd switch the girls in & out. We also had a bumbo chair & a playmat on the floor. I would definitely only buy one to start - if you find you need two, you can always get a second one. Our girls didn't use it until almost 6 months old & then I needed to put a bucket underneath them so they could actually reach the "floor".

Mine got a johnny and a jenny jump up for their 1st Christmas, they were 6 months old but still to small so they really didn't get into until they were closer to 9 almost 10 months but I just have tiny babies lol. We also have an excersaucer but just one. they take turns not enough space for 2.

Well...Looks like I will wait till September or October to get one. I am buying a second swing tomorrow from a twin momma on craigslist. I had two travel swings but Corbin who is bigger didn't like it at all...so I sold it and we are going to try out a full-size cradle style swing. Our house is sooo cramped...but at least it is giving me the motavation to brutally declutter the house. Plus I know how fast this year will go and then we can sell everything or give it away.

We have a jumperoo and a exercauser they can jump in too with toys. They love both of them and will sit in there for about 45 mins at a time. We have a walker too, t hey arent too keen on the walker right now. For the most part, one is usually asleep while one is in mommys arms. If they are both up, one is in the jumperoos and one is in mommys arm. They do not like the swing anymore for the most part, I still use it occasionally for one very fussy baby if she is tired and I cant rock at that moment.(one needs rocking to sleep. the other just lies down)

We have 2 sets baby Eistein exercisers and precious planet jumperoos. One was at my house. Another set was at my parents. My kids loved it so much. Theyre good for educational toys and practice for good lower muscles. However don't let them play more than 1 hr/day. My boy loved the jumperoo so much. I let them played until like 10months. And my boy was tip toe walking. It took him a month to get over it. Good luck!

We didn't get either and I don't think they missed out on much. I was concerned about safety and the amount of space they took up - we live in a condo. We did have a swing, but it's been better for us to have a larger open play area for them in the living room instead of the really big toys.
