Thank you everybody for your kind birthday wishes (and Michelle for the extra extraordinary "e"litteration). This past year has been an amazing adventure. The boys are really the best! They are sweet, so very funny, very social and happy-go-lucky. They've been healthy and happy and have charmed their way into many hearts. I've been overwhelmed with love for them the past while as I reflect over this past year and think of the joyous years to come. They remained happy and cozy inside of mommy for 39 weeks 6 days, they put up with my ineptness and my learning curve. I had so much help those first few months (I was a single mom and was debilitated by the birth so many people came to my aid - bless them) that they got used to just loving whomever was loving them at the time. Ezra started social smiling at 4 weeks and laughing at 5. Listening to him laughing in his sleep is one of my fondest memories. Elias was and is my snuggle bunny, always in my lap looking for a hug and a cuddle. And now they play so well independently, love looking at books, love crawling around the park and playing in the pool and love watching the big kids and just biding their time until it's them on the two-wheelers and skateboards.

There birthday party will be in a public park this weekend. I'm praying it won't rain because my house is tiny and filled up with baby stuff. No theme, just a gathering of those that love the boys. The best present of all will be my chance to see others enjoy them. I so love that.

And thank all of you for helping in my (literally) dark hours. I will be sure to keep on dropping in to return the favour.

Thanks so much for the update and for sharing the pictures! You were adorable pregnant (and now too of course!).
