The past few days, I just feel ODD. I don’t know how else to explain the overall feeling. I have some contractions, nothing to be alarmed about, but I just feel soooo achy and uncomfortable. I’m not sleeping, I’m not hungry. I really don’t know if I should call the DR.. or wait this out. I feel kinda odd calling to say " I feel weird" .... <_<

Am I the only one who feels this way?? Im only 29 weeks and Im already ready to be done!!!! :(:(

If you feel "Off" I would call your Dr. I felt the same way, nothing really specific going on just felt yucky, and I called my Dr and I am so glad I did. Im not trying to scare you, but your body may be trying to tell you something. Its so much better to be safe than sorry. GL, I hope that its nothing!

I would agree with Kyrstyn, if you are feeling odd it wouldn't do any harm to mention it to your Dr.
It's always good to keep them in the loop as to how you are feeling & if there are changes :good:
Hope you feel better & keep us posted :grouphug:

Yes! I'm feeling the same way the last few days!!! I can't shake it. Yesterday and today have just been bad. Very off. Very crappy. Can't really put my finger on it. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. I talked to my mom and she kept urging me to call the doctor, but there is that hesitation that everything is fine and I'm just very pregnant w/two babies. Plus it's a weekend, blah, blah, blah. So I can't decide whether to call or not either.

    Ugh!

Never feel bad about calling on the weekend or at night...that is their job & what they get paid for :)
Dr's would WANT you to call if you were concerned in the least ~ even if it turns out to be nothing at all :good:

I agree with Tamara, you shouldn't hesitate to call! You will feel so much better! Peace of mind can really go a long way.

That sounds like my last week or so, and I'm about as far along as you. I feel weird. I ache all over and I can't get comfortable sitting, standing or lying down. I don't think I'm having contractions, but it's possible. The babies are way more active than they have ever been. I can't sleep or eat much either and I am finding myself working very very hard to be patient with my toddler and my husband. I have a dr's appointment in a few days so I'll mention it, but I feel a bit whiny tell him I feel "weird"!

I know what's that feeling!! I have those days on and off, and it just feels terrible cos I can't find a word to describe it, and I'll feel realli irritated with myself, and probably hubby gets it from me too!! :p

I think you should call your dr. With mo/di twins, if you feel odd or off something could be up with their fluid levels - especially if you feel "tight" or unusually large.

If you can go into an urgent care I would go and just get the fluid levels checked.

Please do it! TTTS is nothing to mess around with!

That said, if you feel back to normal, I wouldn't sweat it, but I would err on the side of caution here!

    UPDATE....

Just wanted to thank everyone for there input. I called the Labor and Delievery Unit Sunday, since ob was closed... they said, to lay down get some rest and drink lots of water. If there was any change to call, or come in. I did what they suggested, just took it easy. :) Stopped by the ob yesterday, let them know I still wasn't feeling right. They checked my bp, did a quick ultrasound...... There was my problem! I have BOTH babies in a head down position, fighting for space. Putting MAJOR pressure on my cervix. I went from 25% effaced to about 50-60% She wasn't concerned, said all looked good, but told me to call/come in at the first sign of "feeling odd" .... Opps.

Thanks again to all of you...

I went through the same thing & my dr. totally scolded me for not calling at the first sign of feeling 'off' ~ tsk tsk!

Im delivering at Madigan Army Hospital. .... UGGH. The upside though, is my Peri is great, so it evens out having to deliver on base..... Im a little worried making it from Puyallup to Ft Lewis in time if I do go into labor, I think that was part of her concern and scolding too!
