On December 15th I gave birth to two beautiful baby girls Emma and Nora. Emma weighed 1900 gram and Nora 1600 gram. They are in NICU and both of them are doing really well. The past few days have been so full of emotions. I was in intensive care after their birth because of lung and heart problems and was refused to see them for 48 long hours.

I have a picture on my Facebook account, so I hope this link works: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3150157&l=ddf54c8fd9&id=691783138...

 Congratulations on your girls! I'm sorry you could not see them for 48 hours due to the heart and lung issues you were having. That is hard I know, BTDT. Please visit the NICU forum for any support you need during and after their stay. I hope it's short and uneventful.

Congrats on your little girls! I wish you a good recovery and that they start picking up weight and stay in the NICU a very short time. I was away from my son for 12 hours, and that was hard enough...I can't imagine 48 hours!

Thanks everyone! They are doing so incredibly well. Nora is now 2000 g and Emma almost 2300 g. They are both in normal beds, but still in hospital, I reckon for two more weeks...
