Emily and Alyssa are here - 32 weeks 6 days

    Exciting news - Emily and Alyssa were born on Thursday at 32 weeks 6 days.

    My waters broke at 4am on Jan 27th. I had steroid shots and magnesium and terbutaline medications to stop labor. We managed to make it for just over 48 hours before Emily and Alyssa were born via C-section. They were each 4lbs 7oz.

    They are in a level II NICU and are making good progress. The steroids really seemed to help!

    Ooh they are beautiful! And they have most beautiful names too! Well done, I'm glad those steroid shots had a little while to start kicking in. Hope they are home with you soon.

    Congratulations on your girl! :Clap: They are beautiful. Please visit the NICU forum for any support you need during and after their stay. I hope their NICU stay is short and uneventful.

    awww they are adorable. Love the names and the weights are great for the gestation! Hopefully their nicu stay is a short and uneventful one. Congratulations!
