    We just got a new SUV (Explorer.. yay!) & I want to put together a little emergency kit for 'those times'. So far, I have :

    * diapers
    * wipes
    * sippie cups
    * snacks
    * band-aids/sunscreen/gauze
    * binkies (because we all have lost them in the supermarket at some point in time)

    I know I'm missing some crucial.. I'm just drawing a blank.. TIA for all suggestions!

    :catfight: :slap: :popcorn: :grr: :panties:
    SORRY, I JUST WANTED TO TRY OUT SOME OF THE NEW SMILIES! :rofl:

    Yay for a new car!! On top of what you already listed, I always keep bottled water, diaper rash cream, purrell and extra toys/books to keep them busy.

    Congrats on the new car! Kyrstyn's suggestions are all great. I also find myself needing to change their shirts if we end up eating out impromptu, so I keep an extra change of clothes for both kids in the minivan.

    Blankets for sure you just never know!
    Something to put in the sippie cups. Water, Juice.
    Snacks. for kids and parents..

    Im looking at this from a car breaking down someplace far away from people and the cell battery dies or no signal. type things. You dont think this happens that much these days but it does

    I also always keep a package of snacks in the car. Something that won't go bad, like goldfish.

    Bottled water (for those sippies), change of clothes, purrell or wipes, receiving blankets (so handy for so many things!), oh and some little toys. Congrats on the new car!!!
