emergency c/s

I starting contractin Sat evening every 5 min. On Sunday we went to the hospital and they tried to stop things but couldn't so they decided for the c/s. The dr said my uterus was about to rupture. Wyatt Matthew was born at 753pm weighing 6lb2oz. He had to be intubated and shipped to Children's hospital. He is now off the vent, on oxygen, getting small feedings by tube. I was finally discharged this morning so I saw him for the first time this afternoon. He is beautiful. They say we will most likely be here for 2 weeks. E&E don't understand where I am. They did see me yesterday and are coming to the hospital tommorrow to see the baby and me.

Please say an extra prayer for my little man.

 

Wow Missy, I'm so sorry to hear that he decided to come early and you were seperated from him for so long, but sounds like he is doing better and that's awesome you finally got to go and meet him!!! I love his name, it's precious! I cant' wait to see pictures of your new son! PM me if you need anything, I'm not that far away. I'm sure that Children's is taking excellent care of him...I hope the NICU stay is short and your family is all home soon! HUGS and KISSES to E & E too

Second, :hug99: I am sorry he is in the NICU and you didn't get to see him for a couple days. I know how hard that is.
