Sorry I'm so slow to post (I'm a slacker). Elliot George and Leah Brooke were born on July 11, 2009 at 35 weeks days gestation. Elliot was born at 12:00pm and weighed 5lbs 6oz. Leah was born at 12:01 and was 4lbs 8oz. They spent a couple days in the NICU (Leah had one apnea episode and Elliot had feeding issues, but they barely needed any help at all) and are now home and gaining ounces at an incredible rate. I had an urgent c-section due to dropping blood platelet levels. The c-section went very smoothly and was no big deal, but man, the gas pain the next day was brutal! We've been busy torturing them with the camera (that's Leah, then Elliot in back, Leah in front, then Elliot yawning). Edited to say that I have no idea why these are so huge... i'd be happy to shrink them if someone tells me how. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3

Congratulations on your babies! They are beautiful! Great names, too. I remember the gas pain after my 1st c section- that's when I learned how gassy apple juice made me!
Mommymeg - Thanks! I think you got them all! Jenn - OMG, I was downing apple juice! I never made the connection. Farhrenheit79 - Elliot is now 5lbs 11oz and Leah is about 5lbs, so they're starting to fill out in those photos. Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes!
