eggs?

I can't remember if it's the yolks or the whites that are ok to have. I'd like to try eggs, I'm pretty sure they'd enjoy them.

We have given ours the whole egg, they don't really like the texture though, we were not told otherwise. We were told at our 9 month appt. to be sure and try it before their 12 month appt. because that is when they get the chicken pox vax.

 

Give them the yolks! They will love them! hard boil one and take the yolk out. Its a good finger food.

 

i've never given them eggs - but have given french toast made with whole eggs. As with anything, watch for any reactions.

 

I got the go ahead to do WHOLE eggs at 9 mos. They didn't react to anything else up to that point, so she said to go for it! Otherwise it's yolks.

Am I missing something here? What does an egg have to do with a chicken pox vaccine?

 

At our 9 month appointment, the pedi said NOT to do eggs for the first year. Why can't the docs make up their minds on what is okay and what isn't?
