Can I give Eggo Waffles? If so, which kind is best for them? I think they have whole wheat, buttermilk, blue berry, etc.

Also, I know that you can't give cow's milk. Is mac and cheese made with a little cow's milk okay?

Thanks so much . . . just trying to figure out this solids thing.

I haven't given the waffles, but I have given the Eggo mini pancakes and also mac and cheese and they have done fine. [IMG] Just watch for a reaction like with any other new food! [IMG]

I bought the Target brand (Archer Farms) whole wheat ones. They split 1/2 and I eat the other half [IMG]

Mac and Cheese. We just started this a couple of days ago. I thought the regular tube noodles were too hard for them to pick up - they were slimy. My SIL said that I should buy the SpongeBob or Spiderman ones because the noodles are bigger. I got the SpongeBob ones at Target, but we haven't tried them yet.

My boys love waffles and will each eat a whole one by themself. What can I say- my boys are little piggies. We buy the Hy-Vee brand waffles.

Eggos are great, fast and easy breakfast, my girls love the blueberry. They also love mac and cheese, a little milk in cooking should be fine. Enjoy!

I have also given the boys Eggo waffles, the cinnamon kind, and they LOVE them. I tried Mac and Cheese and they looked like I was trying to poison them! Maybe I will try the bigger shaped noodles like a pp said.

Or you could make your own waffles (from a mix) and freeze them. They will stay good up to 3 months. I much prefer "real" waffles to Eggos.
