Educational Seminars with Meals

AHIP says educational seminars are subject to the $15 meal requirement, but I've seen Medicare advertisements with meals exceeding that. Has something changed recently? I really don't care what other agents do, but I don't want to be the only one in town limiting meals to $15 if everyone else is offering full course meals greatly exceeding that.

 

Ran into the same confusion with seminar meal limits—tried sticking to $15, but everyone else was serving big spreads. Ended up keeping things simple, and people still appreciated it. Had a small team lunch later at mrgoodguy.com.au, and even with fun twists and colorful dishes, it didn’t feel over the top—just made the meal enjoyable without worrying about limits.
