Edema Question

    This last week my feet are swelling very very bad. I'm 37 weeks along.

    Doc did not seem to be concerned about the swelling.

    Today, the skin is almost flaky and silvery and turnning blue on the right one.

    The ankle is paining like arthritis. Elevating it is not helping.

    MIL thinks something is not right about the color of the foot.

    I am gest. diabetic as well.

    Anyone here have edema or a purple/blue swollen foot?????

    Call your doctor. That doesn't sound right.

    Definitely call the doc! Mine swell occasionally, but the color does not change like you are mentioning.

    Call your doctor! The color change may be related to gestational diabetes.

    Certainly call...hopefully you have already as I see you posted this yesterday.

    GD puts you at higher risk for pre-e and from what you are describing...no matter what is causing it, something is not right!
