Eddie Bauer Convertible

Has anyone used the Eddie Bauer Deluxe Convertable car seats? They are on sale right now and was wondering if they were good ones. I don't want to invest in something I might later not like. Any help would be appreciated.

i believe they're made by cosco, and thats what steared us away from them. i heard coscos ratings arent that good. check on it though b/c im not for sure.

 

My 2 year old has one that I started using when he turned 1. I think it works great. Mine has an interlocking buckle...you have to put the two pieces together before you snap it into the "crotch" buckle. It makes it hard for people who don't use it regularly to figure it out. I don't think they make it that way anymore, just a regular buckle. I like to cup holder...a big plus in my book!

 

I have them for my twins and love them. I haven't come across any problems.

 

I have the eddie bauer and they actually rated very high. And we are very happy with them, but then again Canada has alot stricter standards of testing. They are real sticlars, as in some provinces it is law that your child be in a booster until 80 lbs or your can be fined adn even criminally charged if there was an accident and they were hurt. So it really pays to check reviews on the car seats( consumer reports,) etc...

 

They are pretty much the norm in my circle of friends and we all like them.
