I have been a member on this forum for just a short time but I haven't really gotten to meet anyone more than the replies/topics I send here and there. Does anyone have a EDD close or on March 23rd? I would love to chat and see how you are doing thus far!! Please message me or reply! :D

My actual due date is March 17th, but we have a c-section scheduled for March 3rd. I am having identical twin boys and have been on bedrest for 3 weeks now due to contractions and spotting. It is killing me! How about you?

I also have a scheduled c-section for march 3rd! i am having b/g twins and they are both breech, and have been that way for months now... little monsters! My body is telling me that it is ready to deliver- at least that is how I feel but sono shows that I am closed up like for knox! I have like 30 contractions a day, and i feel every single one. my pubic bone feels like it split in half and i can barely walk around. my doctor put my on modified bed rest, then bed rest and my husband thinks i will be on hospital bed rest after my appointment this monday. i am a stay at home mom and i have a 20 month old that just wants mommy to play and its getting very hard to do! i keep telling myself... its for the good of the babies for them to stay in there as long as possible!! How have you been feeling? how bad are your contractions?

that's funny, you just described EVERY symptom i am having! I am also closed up like Ft. Knox. I just have a feeling these boys are going to wait it out til the end. I don't have kicks anymore, now they just roll around, i love it. I have to admit though, i'm so ready to get to the next stage. I'm so tired of being at home. I don't have any other children so i can't imagine how all of you mommies with kids do bedrest....i applaud you all! So, i guess we will be 3/3 buddies! Keep me posted on your progression!

Hi, my 40w due date would be 3-31, but I won't go past 38w. I just had an US and doc appt today, all is looking good so far. A was head down and 2lb13oz and B is transverse and 3lb6oz and my cervix was around 3. Some days I feel like I'm not going to make it, but most of the time I'm feeling good. No contrax, lots of little kicks and lots of rolling. I'm still working 3 days a week in the office, but will work from home completely come the end of the month.

Good luck to you both, I'll look forward to hearing updates.

Hello ladies, I'll join here too! EDD is March 19th but no talk of c/s date yet <_< I'm hoping my next appt I can convince him to at least chose a tentative date! I had c/s with both my other kids so I'm gaurantee'd to be delivering that way!!

I'm having all those lovely contractions and am still closed up tight, but considering I didn't dilate with either of my kids, after my water broke with both and I was induced with pitocin and cytotec with my son, I'm not really surprised!

I've been mostly worried about my blood pressure, since I had high bp with my son, but so far it's staying at 120/70. I figure since I'm READY for these little boogers (boy/girl here too), they'll probably stick around until 39 wks! :p

    Hi ladies -

I am due March 24th but OB said she usually doesn't let twins go past 37 weeks - that is around March 6th. Having twin girls - not sure if identical or fraternal - not willing to pay for the pricey test. Both were transverse so we were talking c-section, but baby A just went vertex last week so we will see. Having BH contractions pretty frequently but cervix nice and long so will look forward to seeing if I make it to 37 weeks. Nice to meet all of you and looking forward to hearing more.

  10. Hi ladies,
My 40 week due date is April 18th, but my Dr also said he wouldn't let me go past 38 weeks, which puts me at April 2nd. I am almost 27 weeks and having b/g twins and they are our first. I feel a lot of kicking (no rolling yet, but I can't wait for it!) and have a lot of pelvic pain (I think). I have pain when trying to lift my legs from a lying down position. is that round ligament pain or pelvic pain? The left part of my low back is starting to hurt too :(

No talk of a c/s yet. Both babies are feet down, so unless they flip, I will be having a c/s too. Do any of you know at what point it is too crowded in there for them to flip? Just curious how much longer I have? At my last u/s, Baby A (my girl) had a low amount of amniotic fluid, about 1/2 of what my boy has. The Dr said he was going to watch it and if it hasn't improved by my next u/s (first week of Feb) I will be put on bedrest.

[SIZE=12pt]Hello March mommies...I am also due in March, March 17th is my 40 weeks. Two boys, cannot tell at this point is they are identical or not, the membrane between them is VERY thin and the placenta is either one or fused, so I am getting u/s every two weeks at this point to watch for TTTS. So far everything looks ok. I am still working my full schedule but I feel like that is going to have to end very soon. This past week has really brought some changes as far as they way I am feeling, so I feel like that is my signal to cut back but it is hard when our family depends on my income as much as dh's. Anyway, I wish I were not working quite so much and so tired the rest of the time because I would really like to be able to keep up on here better and prepare myself better for what will soon be our new reality!

The babies are vertex/breech so I am hoping they will sit still and stay that way as my doctor has delivered enough twins that she does not hesitate to deliver twins vaginally as long as transverse lie is not one of the positions involved, so there is no talk of anything regarding imminent delivery or c-section.

My 40 week is also April 2nd but my OB said we won't go past 38 weeks, which will be March 19th. Both babies are vertex right now but have marginal placental previa with both placentas so we will probably have a c-section if the placentas don't move up.

Hi, I am also due March 17th. I am 31 weeks right now and at last appt doc said he will be fine with me going into labor in 5 weeks. He seriously doubt he will have to induce me. I haven't had an internal yet so I do not know if I am dialated or not. My son is head down and my girl is head up...as of 2 weeks ago, do not know what they are like now. Most likely we will just wait till labor happens to figure everything out then. Right now, my only complaint is that I am constantly having contractions, especially when I am driving, but I am having them while I am sleeping too, the problem now is that I can't drink too much water either. My family caught some kind of stomach virus and if I drink too much water it is like a double wammy for my butt! Oh, and I can run out of breath just by having a conversation!

Have you ladies gotten everything for your twins yet? I still need to get a few more clothings, and tolietries for the kiddos but other than that, I am good to go. Just need to get this house cleaned and organized!! Hope to accomplish all this by feb, I just cant see myself doing it after that.

My actual due date is 4/1, but I have a severe case of placenta previa and right now my c-section is scheduled for 3/9 and they said I may go into labor on my own earlier than that. I am on modified bed rest, which means nothing really, I still do what I need to do. I work part time as an accountant, so I'm still allowed to do that, but on work days I have to come home and rest. I've also been suffering from SEVERE pelvic paid. I think it's referred to as SPD. It's the most pain I've ever experienced in my life. We have a 16 month old boy and we are expecting two more fraternal boys. We are looking forward to being very busy. I babysat for twins that had two older brothers when I was younger, so I sort of know what to expect, but my husband has no idea. LOL!!

Hi! My 40 wk EDD is March 30. I'm having boy/girl twins. So far they're doing great. I'm starting to get very uncomfortable, though, probably b/c I'm constantly chasing my 2 year old around! I also have a 5 year old. The other night I was having lots of contractions and cramping, and it freaked me out, but it sounds like lots of you are also having contractions, so it must be normal. How do we know if it's something serious that needs to be checked out? You would think that since I've had 2 other children I would know, but I have no idea! I'm so afraid of these babies being born too early, even though my cervix is still very long and closed. So far I've been lucky enough to not have to go on bedrest. I work part time from home, and it's getting harder and harder to be motivated to do anything! I hope you're all doing well and hanging in there!!

My EDD is March 20th so I am very close to you. My OB is going to schedule a c-section for the first week of March if I last that long- but she said she would be surprised if I lasted that long. In fact - she said she was aiming for 34 weeks minimum. I am expecting di/di girls - and already have an almost 2 year old son called Zachary. (2 weeks until his birthday!) I am very lucky to have my mother-in-law staying to look after Zachary so I am able to take it easy.

I have been lucky not to have any complications so far - so fingers crossed that continues (with my son I had pregnancy induced hypertention and gestational diabetes). I am having lots of contractions but no signs of any changes so far.

I had an ultrasound at the perinatologist yesterday and they estimated the girls weights to be 3lb 13oz and 4lb 2oz - which was much bigger than
i had expected. Has anyone had growth ultrasounds recently and what weights did they estimate?

So sorry to hear of your pelvic pain. I am not familiar with SPD. I just wanted to post a note to say that I have an almost 15 month old girl and I am expecting two more di/di girls so we have similar family spacing : ) My marginal placenta previa was diagnosed because both placentas are right to the edge of my cervix on both sides but not covering it at all thankfully.

Your weights look fantastic. My weights at 29 weeks were 2 lbs 15 oz and 2 lbs 13 oz. I would love if at my 32 u/s they were at 4 lbs! I am having trouble eating as much as I probably should these days. :p My OB says she won't stop labor after 34 weeks but thinks I can make it to 38 if things go like they are going. Eek! My due date is March 24th so that puts me around March 13th.

Rebeccaa - Mine were transverse until Baby A flipped a day before 29 weeks. She is now vertex. I had an OB appointment today and although they only used the dopplar, we have a feeling Baby B may be vertex now also but I will have to wait for the u/s in two weeks. I have felt a lot of rolling around. It is not too late - due to their increasing size, I had ruled out they might make a move by 28 weeks, and just when I thought that, they moved! Good luck! ;)

Sparker those weights are great! At 27 wks mine were estimated 2 lbs 10 and 2 lbs 11 oz each, so I too am hoping for around the 4 lb mark! I go monday for my next u/s!!

Looks like we're all doing good, with a couple of modified bed rests and that's it! I too had PIH with my ds (who will be 7 in a month) so that's been a concern, but so far it's hanging around 120/70. And my dd was 9 lbs 12 oz so even tho I passed my GTT's they suspect I may have been starting to develop GD, so far I've passed my GD tests this time too! YAY!

My ob said originally he wouldn't do an elective c/s before 39 wks, but my last appt I asked and he said 7 more wks, minimum of 6 more wks, which puts me about 37-38 wks, so I hope so! If my dd wasn't so big I wouldn't be so concerned, but dang, I don't want TWO 8+ lb babies!

Oh so what's everyone feeling for movement??

    I don't feel as many kicks now, more rolling/wiggling! I'm hoping tha's normal! :D

And I see some of you have older kids too, I'll have a 7 yr old and a 2.5 yr old when the babies get here! Anyone else have older kids??

As for stuff, we have one car seat and are borrowing another, we picked up a used double snap-n-go stroller a few weeks ago, and we set up one crib in our bedroom for them to share for the first little while! We'll get a second crib down the road! Otherwise, clothes/towels/receiving blankets.....etc all other stuff we've got already! We've already started buying baby food that's dated a year from now, start stocking up! :D

    Hi everyone!
Geez, several March 24th due dates, that is my due date as well! I'm having 2 boys andn feeling big! I'm in my 30th week, and a week go Baby A weighed 3 lbs 6oz, Baby B weighed 3 lbs 3 oz. They seem big compared to what I have read. Baby A is head down, so if he stays that way I guess we'll give natural birth a shot. I know its good for them to hang out in there as long as possible, but I am also hoping not to last till the end! I'm big and uncomfortable, though I will miss the constant company as they do move around alot. Love it!
I have been lucky, no complications and I'm still working full time but I wake up a bunch of times every night to turn over, and pee!
So I'm getting nervous but am also excited, these are my first!

Wow! There are a lot of us! I'm due (40wks) on March 21st. I've been on bedrest for 11 wks now but that's just fine 'cause my babies are still cookin'! Their weights at my last u/s (29 wks) my girl, baby A, weighed in at 2 lbs. 11 oz. and my boy, Baby B, weighed in at 3 lbs. As far as movement goes, they still kick some and have just started rolling which feels really wierd. Baby A is head down pushing on my cervix (little snot) which is only .8cm and baby B is hanging out in my ribs (snot #2), hand in one set and feet in the other. Nothin' but trouble... hahahaha :) I haven't had ANY contractons, not even BH. Maybe it's b/c I've been on Procardia since wk. 24??? My docs seem pretty happy though so I'm not too worried. Next u/s and NST scheduled for Jan 26th!
I'm so glad to see that you're all doing well!!!
Danibell, the stocking of baby food made me laugh. :) It reminded me of Y2K when everyone was stocking up on supplies...

Hello! My actual EDD is 3/28/09- however my Ob will not let me go past 38 weeks. I started off work this week and am trying to rest as my body hurts - but there is just so much to do! I am having b/g twins and they will be our 1st and likely our last.

I just had an u/s with my peri on wednesday I was 29 weeks 4 days and my babies are 3 lbs (girl) and 3 lbs 3 oz (boy).

I was orginally told most likely it would be a c-section but both babies are head down now . .. and no mention of setting a date . . .. hmmm.

Its fun to read post from other in the same boat

Add me to the March due date club! My b/g twins are due March 19th, but my OB doesn't want me carrying past 38 weeks, so more like Mar. 5th. My girl, who is baby A, has been breech since 21 weeks. I'm still hoping that she'll flip. I am on bedrest due to being 1cm dilated, but, luckily, have had very few contractions. My OB says if I get to 3 cm and start having contractions, I'm going to have to have a c-section right then. So in bed I lay, doing my best to get as far along as possible. My last growth ultrasound was at 28 weeks 5 day both munchkins were a very healthy 2lb 12 oz. I am hoping for over 4lbs at my next one! There sure are a lot of us due in March! Spring is a great time to have babies!

I'm so glad to see that there are others with older kids, too. I'm so nervous about how I'm going to take care of my other two (age 5 and 2) and two babies! How often do you all see your OBs? We started off with triplets and lost one around 12 weeks, so we have also been seeing a specialist the entire pregnancy. I see my OB every two weeks and the specialist about every three. At what point will we start seeing the OBs every week? I feel like I'm always at the doctor.

I hope everyone is hanging in there! I keep feeling like there are more things I need to do to prepare, but I can't think of what. Have you all packed a hospital bag? I need to do that soon.

    Take care,

    Lisa

Lisa I am so sorry about your lost triplet! :( I can't imagine how confusing that is, being happy to still have 2 but still grieving one!

For me, I requested to see a peri because my ob had no plans to do any ultrasounds to check growth. So I saw the peri at 21 wks, then at 27wks, and again monday at 31 wks. I was on monthly appt's with my ob up until 26 wks, then I did one 2 wk appt at 28 wks, and I've been on weekly ever since with cervical check every appt. Fun fun, don't be looking forward to that! :p

I haven't packed my bag, but I did pack the babies diaper bag! I need to get my butt in gear and get my bag started too, I did start a list the other day so at least in an emergency I can throw most of my stuff together from the list!

I started seeing the OB every week starting at 28 weeks, and still see a peri for a growth ultrasounds once a month (it would be more frequent if they had any concerns but weights, etc look good). I also start having two NSTs per week at 32 weeks.

I have started packing a hospital bag but not finished it...

:( So sorry about baby #3!
I've been seeing my OB every week since wk 28 and MFM specialist for ultrasounds bi-weekly since, well, I don't really remember. Forever? lol. Now I'll see the MFM specialist every 2 wks for an ultrasound and non stress testing until the babies are born.
I'm sure everything will be great for the rest of your pregnancy. Don't worry too much about being at the doc all of the time. I've LOVED having the reassurance!
