I had one when I was pumping full time for A&C. It worked really well for me. I could read or feed a baby while pumping.

I never tried it. In the beginning, it would have worked great for me. But now I know it wouldn't, because I need to do a lot of massage/compression when pumping to keep things flowing and get letdowns.

Probably one of those "wait and see" things... I've also heard of just taking an old, tight t-shirt and using that to hold the pump in place!

I wanted to add that one thing that was nice about it was that you didn't have to strip your other clothes off to use it. It zips up the front so you can put it on over your normal nursing bra.

Yup, LOVED it!!!!!!! Even for occasional pumping I find it much more enjoyable to be able to use my hands for things than holding the pumping horns. I used it when I pumped at work so I could make phone calls home, read magazines, etc. And I used it when pumping at home so I could surf the internet, lol!!!

And Holly, you can still massage, etc while using it, and I find massage better since I can let go and reposition as needed.

I was just thinking that one of those would be nice while I was sitting bored in my little pumping closet here at work...thought the time would pass a little quicker if I could look at a magazine or something!

oh yes! This thing changed my life. I can pump and type on the computer - as I'm doing right now!! I love it!

I do a lot of massage/compression too - so this means I can work on one boob with both hands, while the other boob is pumping hands free.

It's great - worth every penny in my opinion. I don't think I could have kept up the pumping without it.

I bought the medela holder thingy for this same usage and found it was a waste of money. I then used a nursing bra that I got really cheap at Sears, but was about two cup sizes too small. I put the bra on and put the small side of the funnel from the pump up to my nipple and drew a circle on the fabric. I didn't cut out the circle on the bra, but just cut an "X" in the circle.

When I pump (especially at night), I use this bra. It is awesome because I don't have to put the bra on and and then take it off, but just use that one at night, pull down the flaps to put the funnel part in, and then attached the other part and bottle on the outside. I can also breastfeed with the same bra, so once I put the babies down I can just go right to pumping hands free.

Honestly, it was WAY cheaper than the $30-35 you are talking about paying here and it has worked great!

I saw another one, Free Expressions... it's a cord with aligator clips . You put the cord around your neck and then clip the top of your bra flap, then insert your horns, bra flap stays up for the mose part, you just unclip it.
wondering if that works very well.

I use the easy expressions bra for all my pumpings at work. I'm able to work on the computer and use the phone so it makes pumping much more tolerable.

I used one ever day while i was nursing/pumping! It literally saved my life. That hands free pumping bra really does work wtih all pumps. Your hands will be completely free. Drop everything you are doing and go buy it! You'll see ( : You will kick yourself becuase you didn't get it right away. ( :

I always thought these looked like a great idea but never got around to buying one. Anyone tried these? Did they work?

I got this bra after pumping for two months--I wish I had gotten at the beginning! It has made pumping so much more relaxed b/c I can email, write, etc. You should try it! It's super easy to use.
