    Hello everyone!
Today I went in for my 29 week apt. and found out that I am a little over a centimeter dialated and my cervix is very soft.. still peeing blood but its not visible blood if that makes sense :) hopefully is just a painless stone! my concern is the dialation, I have a ton of pressure on my cervix and even my legs are sore, I have contractions just not consistant ones, has anyone else gone through this? thank you for sharing :)

DId they put you on bedrest or anything?? Give you any steriod shots to mature the lungs? Are you too far along for an emergency cerclage?? I actually delivered my singleton at 29 weeks and just hoping to make it to 34 with these twins. My water broke at 28w4d and I was 3 cm dilated (they could see her hair when I went into triage). I had no other problems before hand. Deliverd her 3 days later. So yes, it does happen, BUT, you sound in much better shape than I was. For one, your water hasn't broke, and for 2, women can walk around dilated for weeks and weeks before they actually go into real labor. Just know that even if you DO deliver soon, your babies will be just fine after a stint in the NICU. Keep us posted

DOnt have any experience with blood in urine... is that the same thing as protein in urine?? That is associated with pre-eclampsia...but I don' think it's the same thing. Is it a UTI?

I have been on bedrest since 22 weeks because I had placenta previa but it has corrected itself, I have contactions quite often and have been told to take benadryl at night to stop them but no steroids yet and no meds.. I have been peeing blood for a month now, been to a urologist and no explanation yet and no tests can be ran until after they are born.. its not UTI or any type of infection, may be stones that are hard to see.. I have low BP and my blood tests came back perfect.. babies are 2.5lbs and 2lbs so hopefully they plump up fast , I drink boost protein shakes to give them that extra fat :)

Hi, I was dilated at 24 weeks and had very little cervix. I was on BR for 12 weeks. Do you have a maternal fetal specialist? I saw one because my pregnancy was high risk. I was on procardia pills every 4-6 hours to help minimize the contractions, p-17 shots (I think it helps prevent early labor) and I had 2 sets of steroid shots to mature the babies lungs. We made it another 3 months with all of these interventions. Can you see if any of these interventions might be helpful?
Do you know what length your cervix is? Mine was 6 mm, which is really bad. I hope you can go as long as possible.
    take care, Beth
ps-good job making it this far!!
